Batu Caves is een iconische en populaire toeristische attractie in Selangor. Site van een hindoetempel en heiligdom, Batu Caves trekt duizenden aanbidders en toeristen. Batu Caves ligt net ten noorden van Kuala Lumpur en heeft drie hoofdgrotten met tempels en hindoeïstische heiligdommen. De belangrijkste attractie is het grote standbeeld van de hindoeïstische god bij de ingang, naast een steile 272 beklimt u de trappen om eindelijk de prachtige skyline van het stadscentrum te bekijken. Apen stoeien rond de grotten, en het is een populaire plek voor liefhebbers van bergbeklimmen. Schilderijen en taferelen van hindoegoden.

We had the absolute BEST time doing this tour. We have an 8 yo and a 4 year old. They said it was the best day they have ever had. Batu Caves was the first stop and the perfect amount of time (about 1 hour). It was great seeing the kids experience other cultures and religions. The Elephant Sanctuary was even better than expected. We did the private educational guide and it was 100% worth the extra cost. We were able to go behind and feed the elephants and learn each of their names and why they were rescued. Lunch was delicious chicken rice and the drive to and from the sanctuary was beautiful. It also allowed the kids a chance to nap and relax in between. We cannot thank Fit enough for his hospitality and flexibility when we asked to be dropped off in a different location. I would recommend this trip with this company a million times over! Thanks for making the kids dreams come true!
Guide had good local knowledge and relationships at the sanctuary helping us get the most from the tour.
This experience was one of the highlights of my time in KL! My driver was amazing and very knowledgeable about the KL area. We did a photo at Batu Caves, but was only 15minutes so if you want time to explore well, I recommend going back a second time to do so (which I did). We stayed at the Elephant Sanctuary for around 3-4 hours, and it was amazing! Everything was organised for me, I got a private nature guide around the sanctuary, which was helpful and meant you could get closer to the elephants and learn more about them! This did come at an additional fee, but everything else was paid for. I would recommend bringing a lot of RM with you in cash as everything at sanctuary is cash only. I would also recommend going on a weekday as crowd sizes tend to be smaller (or it was for me). All in all, this is a once in a lifetime experience, and I would 100% recommend to anyone!
This tour is essentially just an expensive taxi service. You will be expected to purchase more services once you arrive at the elephant sanctuary and the lunch is just fried rice with a piece of chicken. Do not recommend

Excursion very well. We would have stayed a little longer in Batu Caves. Very enriching experience at the Sanctuary of the Elephants with a passionate and very pedagogical nature guide.
