8:10 Ophalen bij hotel (ophaaltijd is afhankelijk van de hotels in Seoul) Imjingak-park Imjingak, gelegen op 7 km van de militaire demarcatielijn, loopt nu voorop in het toerisme gerelateerd aan de Koreaanse oorlog. Het werd gebouwd in 1972 met de hoop op de eenwording. De Unification Bridge De brug lijkt meer op een symbolische brug die in 1998 is gebouwd en die eenwording tussen Zuid- en Noord-Korea wenst. Het werd gebouwd door Hyundai Business Group uit Zuid-Korea. De brug gaat over een rivier met de naam Imjingang, die uit Noord-Korea komt. De brug heeft een bijnaam van "Cow Bridge". ID-controle Boven het raam zie je soldaten een camouflage-uniform in groene kleuren dragen. Het zijn Zuid-Koreaanse soldaten die momenteel 21 maanden hun militaire dienstplicht vervullen. Alle mannen in Zuid-Korea moeten de militaire dienstplicht vervullen voor de periode. DMZ-theater en tentoonstellingsruimte Het is een uniek museum in de civiele beperkingszone. Het werd officieel geopend op 08, 14, 2009. De DMZ Showroom toont folders gebruikt tijdens de 6.25 Koreaanse burgeroorlog, militaire brieven, bajonetten, lege cartridges, aardewerk gevonden in DMZ, opgezette vogels en enz. DMZ Video Room is voorzien van driedimensionale verhuizing afbeeldingen. Door ze te bekijken, zul je begrijpen hoe Korea verdeeld was. De 3e infiltratietunnel Het hoogtepunt van de DMZ-tour is om een door Noord-Korea gegraven tunnel te verkennen. Sinds 1974 heeft South Army vier tunnels ontdekt die de MDL oversteken. De tunnels werden gemaakt voor militaire invasie in Zuid-Korea. Elke tunnel is groot genoeg om dertigduizend soldaten in een uur door te laten. De 3e tunnel werd ontdekt in 1978 die 435 meter voorbij de staakt-het-vurenlijn Zuid-Korea binnendrong. Je gaat horen hoe de tunnel is ontdekt met meer gedetailleerde informatie. Dora Observatorium Dora Observatory, of OP Dora is de meest noordelijke observatiepost vlak tegenover Noord-Korea. Vanaf het observatieplatform is Noord-Korea binnen uw gezichtsvermogen, net als de buitenwijken van Gaeseong City, de op twee na grootste stad van Noord-Korea. Han and Alina were great. It was a long day, but I enjoyed myself. The third floor at Dora Observatory is open, but still no photography across the border. Hopefully, as the tension calms, that will change soon!

Both the guides SP Hong for DMZ tour and Lina for NLL tour were amazing! Very knowledgeable and funny, making the whole trip very enjoyable! SP shared about the strategic locations of Gaesong factory, JSA etc and even brought binoculars so that everyone could try to take a glimpse of these areas. Lunch at the unification village couldn't have been better! It's my 1st try at Korean canteen buffet style food and the taste was great!! On the way to Ganghwa, I got the chance to get closer to the coast line and demarcation fences. The neighbourhoods on the journey to Ganghwa are very different from the Korea I saw. Ganghwa observatory is quieter (mostly locals), I could see North Korean houses and farmers working in the fields and that was a really undescribable experience. Lina shared interesting stories like how North Korean whisky are made with recipes from defectors and even about older generation Koreans who may still have relatives back in the north. I even got to keep a checkpoint check slip as a momento! Would definitely recommend this tour!! No doubt it's a long journey but definitely worth it!

Highly recommending combination DMZ and NLL tour than doing just DMZ alone! It is like having a land and sea view of the gap in SK and NK. Both our guides Han in DMZ and Min Su in NLL are amazing and always went out of their way to make you comfortable.

Mr SP Hong conducted a most fascinating and informative tour. He provided cultural and historical insights. He provided a much more detailed understanding to the history both economic and political aspects of Korea. I very much enjoyed his tour as did my wife and two children ages 17 and 29.
