Onze resident gidsen zullen fungeren als een culturele brug om u kennis te laten maken met de wonderen van Buenos Aires. Er zijn geen megafoons, paraplu's/vlaggen om te volgen, overvolle tourbussen, massale groepen om in te verdwalen zoals op een "gratis" tour, noch scripted speeches. Deze tour voelt als een gesprek met een deskundige vriend. Je leert over het lokale leven buiten de standaard toeristische bezienswaardigheden. Onze groepen zijn klein, "semi-privé" als je wilt, met een maximum van zeven gasten, en de nadruk op persoonlijke verbinding & kwaliteit ervaringen. We delen de verborgen verhalen van onze stad. Onze gidsen zijn native of native-level Engels sprekers die al vele jaren inwoners van deze geweldige stad zijn. We richten ons op het verbinden van de historische punten uit het verleden met het moderne Buenos Aires van vandaag. En hebben een geweldige tijd tijdens het doen!

Ontdek een paradijs voor boekenliefhebbers in dit omgebouwde theater uit 1919. El Ateneo Grand Splendid wordt vaak beschouwd als de mooiste boekhandel ter wereld en heeft adembenemende plafondfresco's, originele theaterdozen die zijn omgebouwd tot leeshoekjes en een café op het voormalige podium, waar we elkaar ontmoeten voor een inleidend gesprek bij de koffie voordat we aan onze wandeling beginnen. Het is een must-visit bezienswaardigheid die perfect de "Parijs van het zuiden" elegantie van Buenos Aires vangt.
Wees getuige van de architectonische grandeur van Barrio Norte. We zullen het Palacio de Aguas Corrientes bewonderen, een "waterpaleis" vermomd in 300.000 terracotta tegels, en het Franse Palacio Pizzurno. Deze majestueuze gebouwen illustreren perfect de gouden eeuw van weelde van de stad.
Bewonder het imposante gebouw van de faculteit Rechten en de iconische, metalen Floralis Genérica-sculptuur voordat u in de "Parijse" elegantie van Recoleta duikt. We bezoeken het levendige Plaza Francia, de historische Basílica del Pilar-kerk en de legendarische Gomero-boom, en nemen een kijkje op de grandioze Avenida Alvear.
Het hoogtepunt van onze tours voor velen : Verken deze wereldberoemde "Stad van de Doden", beroemd om zijn prachtige architectuur en fascinerende geschiedenis. Gedurende 45–60 minuten navigeren we over de met marmer beklede wandelpaden om het graf van Eva Perón te bezoeken en de boeiende, vaak macabere, verhalen te horen van de legendes die binnen deze grote muren begraven liggen. Er is echt nergens anders op de planeet zoals het is. Wij dekken de $ 16 - 20 USD per persoon kosten van de toegang voor u!
Wandel door Tribunales, het juridische en culturele centrum van de stad. We bewonderen de buitenkant van het Teatro Colón van wereldklasse, het imposante Hooggerechtshof en het prachtige Mirador Massué. Het is een masterclass in gevarieerde architectuur, van neoklassieke kracht tot Art Nouveau elegantie.
Geniet van een typische lokale lunch. Op weekdagen dineren we in El Patio, verscholen op de serene binnenplaats van het historische Convento San Ramón Nonato. In het weekend bezoeken we een lokale favoriet voor authentieke Argentijnse pizza of empanadas van wereldklasse.
Duik in de bruisende kern van de stad. We navigeren door de Avenida Corrientes, "de straat die nooit slaapt", hebben een fotosessie bij het iconische Obelisk en Green BA-bord, steken de Avenida 9 de Julio over, de breedste laan ter wereld, en passeren de prachtig gerestaureerde Confiteria Ideaal om de pracht van Belle Époque te proeven.
Sta in het epicentrum van de Argentijnse geschiedenis, politiek, cultuur, religie en economie. We bespreken de legendes van Evita, de Moeders van het Plaza en bezienswaardigheden zoals het Casa Rosada, de Metropolitaanse Kathedraal en de Cabildo. Hier ontvouwen zich de meest dramatische verhalen van het land, van koloniale revolutie tot hedendaagse feesten. Militaire staatsgrepen, massale protesten, financiële crises, onafhankelijkheidshelden, Peron, Evita, Maradona, de paus en meer... Plaza de Mayo verbergt verhaal na verhaal en kan niet volledig worden gewaardeerd zonder een deskundige Gids.
Dompel jezelf onder in de kasseien charme van de oudste barrio van Buenos Aires. Ooit het aristocratische hart van de stad, is San Telmo nu een bohemien schatkamer van antiek, tango en historische architectuur. We verkennen de koloniale ziel en levendige marktsfeer.

- Probeer 10 minuten te vroeg te komen, om 9.50 uur, om te zorgen dat de rest van de kleine groep geen vertraging oploopt. Als je na 10.20 uur aankomt, kunnen we niet garanderen dat je groep er nog steeds is (hoewel je in dit geval rechtstreeks contact opneemt met je Gids om te proberen de groep in te halen voor de rest van de tour!)
- Wat je nodig hebt op deze tour :
- Goede schoenen om te wandelen! (maar maak je geen zorgen over de duur / afstand van de tour, het wordt gedaan in een ontspannen tempo en met veel kansen om je batterijen op te laden onderweg)
- Wat contant geld (peso's of USD) en een creditcard / betaalpas, voor het geval u onderweg extra eten of drinken etc. wilt kopen
- Voor het grootste deel van het jaar moet u overwegen om zonnebrandcrème, zonnebril, een hoed etc
- Als het regent, kleed je dan op de juiste manier en vraag je hotel om een paraplu te lenen (of als dat niet mogelijk is, vraag het dan aan je Gids en zij kunnen je helpen om aan het begin van de dag een goedkope paraplu te kopen)
- Een camera of mobiele telefoon om foto's te maken, maak je niet te veel zorgen over de veiligheid, zolang je het maar kunt opslaan terwijl je loopt en je bewust blijft van je bezittingen

Absolutely amazing cultural tour. Tracy was our guide. My experience the best tour guide that I have worked with. She was beyond words wonderful. Easy pace covered 7 miles.

Tracy was a great tour guide. So much knowledge and information on Buenos Aires. She tailored our tour to our small group and was flexible when we added stops along the way. We had only a short time in BA and were looking to get a good sense of the culture and city life. We got SO lucky doing a full day with Tracy from Buenos Tours! First off - the company was incredibly flexible and super easy to communicate with. Our flight was cancelled and via whatsapp we were able to easily be in touch and ultimately rebook. We had friends booked who were not able to make it due to the cancellations and they refunded them almost immediately. The day with Tracy was full of history, culture, local color, delicious food, and humor! Tracy is incredibly knowledgable and took our cues on what we were interested in seeing and hearing about. Absolutely loved this walking tour, it felt very special from the meeting location, to the restaurant for lunch and finishing with a bottle of wine in San Telmo and all the sights and experiences in-between. Chris our guide was so knowledgeable and showed us so many fantastic sights around Buenos Aires. It was like having a freind show you around this beautiful city. I would highly recommend this tour.

Our walking tour of Buenos Aires was perfect, as was our guide! We got to see, and learn about, so many areas of the city, starting with meeting at the fabulous/beautiful book store. Arrive early so that you have a chance to spend time there. It’ll take your breath away. Our guide, Chris, was excellent! He is so knowledgeable and very personable. The tour was worth every penny! We were fortunate to have the guide, Tracy to ourselves and she was excellent. Not only did she take us to all the major sites but she also told us lots about the history, politics and culture of the country We started at the beautiful bookstore, El Ateneo Grand Splendid and then walked to the Recoleta Cemetery where Tracy told us about all the notable graves. We travelled by tube, bus and taxi to visit La Boca and San Telmo areas. In La Boca we even saw a lookalike Maradona! For lunch Tracy took us to the most beautiful restaurant in La Boca with outside seating and music. As Tracy is also a tango dancer she told us lots about this which was really interesting. It helped us understand the show we saw on another day. It was one of our favourite days out.
