Vanaf 07:30 uur - ophalen bij het hotel / verblijf en vertrekken naar het eiland Tuan Chau in de stad Halong, onderweg stoppen voor een pauze 12:30 - Aankomst havenhaven Tuan Chau, welkom aan boord en veiligheidsinstructie - Wego Halong neemt u mee op een 5-uur durende reis via een 2-daagse dwarsligger cruise route die bekend staat om zijn opvallende, passages onbewoonde eilandjes en ontsluitingen die fantasierijke namen hebben gekregen van de lokale bevolking, vanwege hun waargenomen vormen, waaronder Cock Fighting en Thumb , terwijl je geniet van een Vietnamese lunch met watertanden op de boot. 13:45 - Arriveer de Bo Hon-archipel, bezoek de Verrassende Grot om veel stalagmieten en stalagtieten met verschillende vormen van zeeleven te zien, ga vervolgens kajakken of bamboe-boot in de Luon-grot om de prachtige lagune te ontdekken. - Bezoek Titov Island met zandstrand grenzend aan de torenhoge kalkstenen berg met een uitstekende achtergrond van de baai, en beklim de Titov Peak voor een panoramisch uitzicht op de baai als paradijs. 16:30 - Terug Wego Cruises voor Afternoon Tea en terugvaart naar de haven van Tuan Chau. Bad communication! Made it very stressful day,!
We booked a pick up from the International Cruise Port which was confirmed with the company but they didn’t pick us up and we had to book taxis to their departure point and back. This incurred extra cost. Otherwise tour was good and as advertised.

This is one of the bext day tour we enjoyed alot during our time in North Vietnam..pepple were friendly and helped many things for us anf our kids even it only ome day trip.to Halong
We booked Halong bay one dsy trip at last minute and found deluxe tour as great. Got limo sharing bus pick up ib morning on time. Tour guide was friendly. Kayak. Cave tour .island tour were included as promised.
We booked the tour minute, but then they told us they could do the tour and wanted us to change to an other tour with a different location. Communication was difficult and “no bro” was the answer… don’t book this tour!

They offer a tour to Bai to Long but They do not have this option, only to Ha Long. They offer the option to choose the cruise to Bai to Long, but even if you choose the company says that the cruise is to Ha Long. If you want to visit to Bai To Long you definetily shoud find another option.

My husband and I did a 12 hour tour to Halong Bay with via tour. It was quite expensive and we booked it before we left Australia. Our tour guide Toan was very knowledgeable and very organised however the 'tip' comments were too much! We had to pay extra to do a speed boat ride instead of a kayak (fair enough); however he suggested we tip the speed boat rider and tip the staff on the boat and of course leave enough for him too and the bus driver !!! I felt that I had already paid so much for this trip so this was unexpected and unpleasant!
I spent hours online looking for the perfect Halong Bay tour. I wanted something different. We absolutely wanted to see one of the floating villages. I finally found a tour that met our criteria. Even thought the village was listed on the voucher as a stop, I wrote to Viator, reiterating that the floating village was a must for us. I didn’t receive a response until about ten days later asking me to confirm pick up location and still no confirmation of the stops on the tour. I was given a WhatsApp number to contact, so again I inquired about the floating village visit. Less than 24 hours before the tour, I was told we would not be seeing a floating village !! I was told that we had been upgraded to a “++ Luxury cruise”. Since I had already paid for the tour, and had no time to search for another, we decided not to cancel. What a mistake. Our boat was just like many other boats in Halong Bay that day. There was no “luxury” experience. The food was mediocre. We were told to leave our water bottles in the bus to avoid polluting the bay, but were only served ½ a small glass of “juice” with lunch, thus having to purchase all beverages. We were not even given a single water bottle on board the boat! The tour guide only seemed to want us to stop in shops and buy food, drinks and souvenirs. We wasted so much time with these stops, waiting for all the passengers to reboard. Though Halong Bay and the cave are worth seeing, the beach is nothing to write home about. I will never book via Viator again.
Unfortunately Halong Bay is overcrowded and the water full of trash. Therefore we booked the Bai Tu Long bay tour, but one evening before our tour the tour operator told us, we would do the Halong bay tour instead. It was too late to cancel and organize something different, so we couldn’t do anything but accept. The team was nice and tried to help with everything as much as they could. Also the cruise ship and the food was great. Although the tour itself is not really recommendable. On our way back to Hanoi we were just dropped in the middle of nowhere (after 9pm) instead of the meeting point. After asking the driver if he could at least drop us somewhere near the meeting point to get easier back to our hotel he didn’t even listen.
Ha Long Bay itself is amazing. I compare it to seeing the Grand Canyon for the first time. Trang, our tour guide, and the rest of the crew were lovely. They provide a very good lunch and I am a picky eater. Really clean boat and facilities. Loved the trip❤️.
