Ontdek het Phnom Kulen National Park met een dagtour met gids vanuit Siem Reap. Bezoek de Kulen-waterval, de rivier van duizend Lingas, en reis naar de top van de berg om de wereldberoemde liggende Boeddha te vinden. Tour wordt geleid door een door Apsara Authority gecertificeerde gids en heeft een duur van 7 - 10 uur. Kleine groepsreis is beperkt tot maximaal tien deelnemers en omvat het ophalen en inleveren van het hotel.

Wat Preah Ang Thom wordt ook wel 'de tempel van de Duizend Linga's' genoemd. We verkennen de tempel met onze deskundige Khmer-gids, die je inzichten en context zal geven over wat je zult ontdekken op deze beroemde plek, inclusief de beroemde 'liggende Boeddha'.
Rivier van 1000 Linga's (Anlong Pong Phkay) Langs een stuk van de rivierbedding over een lengte van ongeveer 500 meter zijn er beeldhouwwerken van linga, verschillende grote en kleine yoni, en een groot beeldhouwwerk van Vishnu. Langs de wanden van de rivierbedding is ook een klein beeldhouwwerk in het gesteente te zien.
Zwem bij de waterval, verken de tropische jungle. Er zijn twee belangrijke watervallen in het Phnom Kulen National Park. Eerste waterval: 4 à 5 meter hoog en ongeveer 25 meter breed tijdens de regenseizoenen. Tweede waterval: 15-20 meter hoog en ongeveer 15 meter breed tijdens de regenseizoenen. De grootte van de watervallen varieert afhankelijk van de seizoenen en de regen. Een bezoek aan de watervallen is een populaire activiteit tijdens de Kulen Mountain Tour.

Great, beautiful and well organised! Our guide Lok was very knowledgeable and shared great stories for the history of the country and the different religions. Plus the waterfall was cool and fun!
Our operator had an issue and we could not join the tour. However, they offered us a free buffet dinner with traditional dance. I think it was a very nice gesture on their part.
We had a wonderful afternoon travelling on this tour. Our local guide Bunhak was brilliant. He had excellent English and amazing knowledge of what was his local area. We travelled in a very comfortable air conditioned car and saw some amazing places and views in the mountains. Our highlight was swimming at the waterfall. We would this trip and our excellent local guide Bunhak and his driver.
Bunhak was a fantastic guide; he speaks English. We spent several days visiting wonderful places: Siem Reap, the temples of Angkor Wat, kulen, villages, local markets... We were 3 friends. Bunkak is very friendly and attentive. He organizes excursions to your liking, according to your interests and the days you are going to be in the area. He is cultured and is always willing to explain the history of each corner. Plus, he knows how to take very good photos. Very nice experience and I really recommend him.
We had such a great day visiting the Kulen mountain area. Bunhak was our guide for the day and he was very knowledgeable about everything we visited and so warm and welcoming to our group. He made the tour! We drove maybe an hour from Siem Reap to the first stop, where we had a few beautiful viewing point of the valley. Then we went to visit the waterfall. I got beautiful pictures but none of us had a suit on so we didn't jump in. You can swim in the pools. We had a nice lunch at a local spot. Then we went to this ancient cave temple. For me, that was the highlight of the day. We ended the day at a temple further up the mountain and watched the sun set. It was absolutely beautiful!!! My friends and I had the best time with Bunhak and he takes amazing photos of you all day! Make sure to ask for him as your guide.
Sam was amazing!! Highly recommend! He even took us to some local markets for delicious Cambodian food - locals-style!!!!
