Uw reis begint met een pick-up in Reykjavík en een schilderachtige rit door vulkanische landschappen. De eerste stop is het geothermische gebied Seltún, waar dampende ventilatieopeningen en borrelende modderpoelen de ruwe geothermische energie van IJsland laten zien. Wandel vervolgens naar een uitzichtpunt in de buurt van de vulkaan Fagradalsfjall. Deze 45 minuten durende wandeling beloont je met een prachtig uitzicht op lavavelden gevormd door recente uitbarstingen, en biedt een kijkje in de ongelooflijke kracht van een van de jongste vulkanen van IJsland. De reis gaat verder naar Grindavík, waar beschermende barrières gebouwd door bewoners staan als een bewijs van menselijke veerkracht. Het schiereiland Reykjanes in IJsland heeft de afgelopen jaren verschillende vulkaanuitbarstingen meegemaakt, met name in 2021, 2022 en 2023. • Zorg ervoor dat je minimaal 30 minuten voor vertrek bij het door jou aangewezen opstappunt bent. Onze pick-up voertuigen zijn goed gemarkeerd met de Reykjavik Excursies. • Elke chauffeur heeft een paar haltes, dus het kan tot 30 minuten duren om iedereen op te halen, dus u hoeft zich geen zorgen te maken als de bus er niet meteen is.

Excellent tour: each stop was amazing and our guide Dylan was witty and cool. The tour was not too long, not to short. We could hike, eat marvellous food and walk around the most beautiful scenery at many unique spots. Highly recommanded!!!

Very interesting tour to the lava fields, very interesting stops as hot spring, ocean views. Dylan explain us a lot on the tour. The chocolaterie in grindevik is so tasty.

Excellent tour. Our guide, Dylan, was very warm and professional and shared a lot of interesting information about the geological and social / historical aspects of the places we visited. I enjoyed being out and about with only short periods on the bus in between sights. The hike across the lava fields was the standout part of the trip. Absolutely incredible experience!
