De Hassan-II-moskee is een moskee in Casablanca. Het is gedeeltelijk op zee gebouwd en is een religieus en cultureel complex, verspreid over negen hectare en omvat een gebedsruimte, een wasruimte, baden, een koranschool, een bibliotheek, een museum en een traditionele kunstacademie.

De geschiedenis van Maârif gaat terug tot 1914 toen drie Engelse handelaren besloten een groot stuk grond te verwerven en te verdelen. The tour is 3-3.5 hours (not the advertised 5-6 hours) The driver was very good and knowledgeable. Too bad the market is closed on Fridays
