Begin uw dagexcursie naar Bulgarije met een vertrek in de ochtend vanuit uw hotel in Boekarest. Reis per auto of minibus met airconditioning naar de uitlopers van het Balkangebergte. Verken de middeleeuwse nederzetting Veliko Tarnovo met je gids. Hier kunt u het fort Tsaravets observeren, een fort uit de Middeleeuwen. Ga verder en bezoek het St. Dimitrie Basarabov-klooster, dat is uitgehouwen in een klif en nog steeds bewoond is. Ga naar Arbanasi Village en bewonder de middeleeuwse architectuur. Aan het einde van de dagtocht reizen we terug naar Boekarest. Een actueel, geldig paspoort is vereist.

Nadat je Veliko Tarnovo hebt verkend en van de lunch hebt genoten, gaat de tour door tot zijn laatste stop; Arbanasi dorp. Arbanasi Village ligt op een hoog plateau tussen de nederzettingen van Veliko Tarnovo en Gorna Oryahovitsa en biedt een spectaculair uitzicht en ongelooflijke voorbeelden van middeleeuwse architectuur die verschillende eeuwen teruggaat. Tegenwoordig is de straat een toeristische attractie waar men gerenoveerde oude huizen, verschillende traditionele ambachtelijke ateliers, bakkerijen, banketbakkers en zogenaamde Hadji Nikoly Inn kunt zien, gebouwd in 1858.

Alin was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable and good fun. Our trip was delayed by 24hrs due to heavy snow fall but the communication was brilliant & the rearrangement easy. Our trip was seamless, the border crossings were simple and the sights were stunning. Alin also gave us a small tour of Bucharest at the end of the day as we'd missed so much due to the weather.
Great tour to do from Bucharest Romania 🇷🇴 to Bulgaria 🇧🇬 . It's an all day tour, but definitely worth the value and time. My guide was Octavian, and he did an awesome job. He picked me up right on time in the morning. This tour wasn't the traditional boring tour, it was fun like going on a road trip with a friend. We saw great scenery along the way and sights on a small town in Bulgaria that is interesting. He takes great photos 📸 for memories. Don't hesitate to book this tour, trust me. We had a wonderful private tour to Veliko Tarnovo with Alin as our guide and driver for the day.
