Rijd langs de schilderachtige zuidkust en stop bij het pittoreske McLaren Vale Tourist Information Centre voor lokale souvenirs en een gratis thee of koffie. Ga verder naar Port Elliot, waar u een panoramische foto kunt maken vanaf de uitkijkpost Obelisk. Geniet van het prachtige uitzicht. Klim over de rotsen bij Boomer beach met de kans op het zien van een zeehond spelen in de golven. Rijd door naar Victor Harbor, waar je 2 uur hebt om op je eigen tempo te verkennen. Maak een zelfstandige wandeling of een ritje met een paardenkoets naar Granite Island, of geniet van lokaal winkelen en lunchen in een lokaal café (inbegrepen) of verwen jezelf in een van de andere eetgelegenheden (op eigen kosten). Geniet van de kustvibes tijdens deze Victor Harbor tour. Tijdens uw tour geniet u van een ontspannen stop bij het McLaren Vale & Fleurieu Coast Visitor Centre. U kunt ontspannen met een kopje thee of koffie in het eigen café, met lokaal geproduceerde lekkernijen en een schilderachtig uitzicht op de tuin. Er is tijd om de selectie van lokaal gemaakte producten van de cadeauwinkel te bekijken en de kunstgalerij met werken van regionale kunstenaars te verkennen - waardoor het een perfecte pauze is om de smaken en creativiteit van McLaren Vale te ervaren.
Tijdens je tour pauzeer je bij de Port Elliot Obelisk, een historische bezienswaardigheid die bovenop Freeman's Nob ligt. Deze 7,7 meter hoge crèmekleurige obelisk, gebouwd in 1852, diende ooit als navigatiehulpmiddel voor schepen die de haven binnenvaren, met een blauwe vlag gehesen om een veilige doorvaart aan te geven. Vanaf het uitkijkpunt kunt u genieten van een panoramisch uitzicht over Horseshoe Bay, Boomer Beach en de omliggende kustlijn. Het gebied staat ook bekend om het spotten van walvissen, vooral tijdens de wintermaanden wanneer zuidelijke rechterwalvissen en hun kalveren vaak zichtbaar zijn vanaf de kust.

We had a very enjoyable tour. The weather on the day was very changeable, but this did not deter from the day as Liz was very knowledgeable and helpful to our needs. Time spent at each attraction was excellent as we never felt rushed. Visiting the d'Arenberg Cube should not be missed.

Tim was our tour guide for the day he was very nice,knowledgeable and interesting to listen to about the area pointing out many places of interest. The McLaren Vale area & visitor center was beautiful. We then went to Port Elliot which is a nice village and bakery. It was great to go back to Victor Harbour where we spent some of our honeymoon 40 years ago! We had plenty of time to stroll around & have a nice lunch. Exceptional Day Out Exploring Victor Harbor, Port Elliot & The Cube I had an absolutely fantastic full-day tour of Victor Harbor, Port Elliot and The Cube. Our guide Tim was exceptional knowledgeable, engaging. He shared so much local insight and history without ever overloading us which made the whole day easy to enjoy. The itinerary was really well paced. It gave us plenty of time to explore at each stop without feeling rushed. First of all, I’d like to thank our guide, Liz for giving me and my family a memorable day at Port Elliot, Victor Habour and d’Arenberg. She is very caring and attentive. Our mini van has free WiFi. The trip includes a complimentary drink, bottled water, and umbrella for use if it rains. Started this tour with our great tour guide Liz telling us the history of the city, which was very interesting and informative for international travellers like us.
