Dit is een privétour waarbij je de ongerepte natuur ziet en een boot alleen voor jou hebt. Tijdens de tour wordt u geserveerd met drankjes (water, sap, lokale wijn). Als iemand die is geboren in het Nationaal Park Skadarmeer, zal de kapitein, die ook een gids is, u wat informatie geven over het meer en de omgeving. Je hoort verhalen uit de eerste hand. Stop tijdens zomerdagen op het open meer om te zwemmen, wat we wildzwemmen noemen, een van de beste momenten tijdens de tour. Verder zijn er op het meer 281 soorten vogels, en je zult er enkele in de buurt kunnen zien. BELANGRIJK: DE VERTREKTIJD IS AFHANKELIJK VAN DE BESCHIKBAARHEID VAN DE BOOT.

Lesendro is een schiereiland en fort aan het Skadarmeer, gelegen nabij het dorp Vranjina. Het fort is gebouwd in de 18e eeuw. Het is gelegen op het schiereiland dat een eiland was tot de aanleg van de spoorlijn Belgrado - Bar. Tijdens het bewind van bisschop Peter II Petrović-Njegoš diende het als verdediging tegen Turkse aanvallen. Tourplan: Vertrek is vanuit Virpazar. Het varen begint door een prachtig klein kanaal omgeven door verschillende planten en vogels, waarna we bij een groter deel van het meer komen. Met de boot varen we onder de brug door die deel uitmaakt van de hoofdweg Podgorica – Bar. Lesendro bevindt zich net achter de brug. Net na Lesendro varen we door vogelreservaat en smalle kanalen omgeven door waterlelies, riet en waternoten, en varen we door de rivier Moraca. Daarna ziet u grote en kleine Cakovica-eilanden waar we een pauze houden om te zwemmen - we noemen het wildzwemmen. Na het zwemmen gaan we terug naar Virpazar.

Lake Skadar is the largest freshwater lake in the Balkans. We booked online with Victor - very easy. The meeting point description was precise. We were escorted by Ivana to our boat and Captain Boban. It was a beautiful autumn day with mild temperature, blue sky, and sunshine. Ivana spoke excellent English, but unfortunately the captain did not and Ivana did not accompany us on the boat ride. The boat was comfortable with seat pads (a nice touch) and a covered area if one wanted to be out of the sun. The engine was surprisingly quiet, which added to the enjoyment of the scenery. We saw lots of birds, but primarily cormorants. A few egrets, herons, and one pelican. We got some nice photos and videos. We also passed by an old Ottoman fortress and associated prison on a small dot of land that was previously an island and now accessible via a causeway. The captain tried to provide information, but we had trouble getting much out of it because of his limited English. Also, about 20 minutes into the tour, he lit up a cigarette. We were struck by the high proportion of Montenegrins that smoke, but, for goodness sake, this is a boat tour of a lake that is part of a national park! I asked him to extinguish the cigarette, and he did so cordially. We were disappointed by the amount of trash (mostly plastics, bottles, and the like) that were floating in the lake and collecting on the shore. Again, given that this is a national park, we were very disappointed having to look at the trash. So, overall I would say this was a worthwhile excursion at a reasonable price. It would have been much more interesting with a fluent English-speaking guide. If you go, I recommend doing your own extensive online searching ahead of time so that you won’t miss the interesting facts.
This was a very special experience and by far the best way to see the beauty and tranquility of the lake. We had booked with Olana the previous day to meet our guide, Bobo, at 07:30. She also gave us great advice about getting a national park pass that would cover our whole trip and it did save us some money. Bobo was right on time and took us to our private boat. It was very romantic and the tour was very thorough. Bobo was very knowledgeable about the lake and all the wildlife and he was also a very skilled captain of the boat. Overall it was an amazing experience and a highlight of the holiday. Olana met us off the boat and we chatted for a while. This is a very good company to do the tour with, very friendly, very knowledgeable and you get what they promise. Loved it, thank you Eagle Boat and Kayak ❤️😁
Our trip was wonderful - both owners were amazing! They even helped pick us up at the cruise port for a fee (lovely to not worry about getting there and back in time). The boat trip was relaxing and beautiful. We were able to see many birds and try a 'water nut'! There is a time to swim, we hadn't brought swimsuits...

Highly recommended!! We went on a 4 hour trip with our two kids. De tourguides were super friendly, and adjusted the tour as we liked. De went for a great swim in the middle of Skadar lake.
