Tijdens deze tour naar het noorden van Qatar verkennen we het vissersdorp Al Khor en ook het Al Zubara Fort – een historisch militair fort en de enige UNESCO-werelderfgoedlocatie in Qatar met een prachtig uitzicht op de zonsondergang, en de ‘Shadows Traveling on the Zee van de Dag” door de openbare kunst van Olafur Eliasson.

Al Zubarah Fort is een historisch militair fort van Qatar. Het fort ligt in de stad Al Zubarah, die op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO staat en het best bewaarde voorbeeld is van een 18e-19e-eeuwse handels- en parelvisserijstad in de Golfregio.

Tahoe our Tour guide very knowledgeable & really took care of us
Sadiq was very friendly and gave us lots of Qatar history lessons and explained why several heritage towns were abandoned and renewal now. It was a terrific experience for us. Travelling to the shadows of the sea was very impressive. Thanks so much Sadiq👍

Nice half day trip to see where Qatari love work and play! Asmat is a wonderful guide (we requested him after having him for a guide on a prior excursion. Fish Market, Djow boats, and UNESCO site of the historic pearl diving city! Interesting and relaxing! 10/10 recommend!
