Verborgen Kyoto E-Biking tour

It's a lovely tour, easy pace. Sean our guide was very good at setting the pace and directing us on the roads. Sean was extremely knowledgeable and kept my kids engaged the whole time. Everyone in the family loved it.

My partner and I book this bike tour as I wanted to see more in the day than what walking could offer. Riding through the hidden back streets gave us a completely different side of Kyoto. It was our first time riding e-bikes & we both hadn’t been on a bike since we were kids but it was so easy and our guide Yuta made the experience so memorable. He was very patient, even waiting and calling people who were late to allow time to join, he was very knowledgeable and a great speaker keeping everything interesting. He even suggested food & shops to visit in the area after the tour. Thank you Yuta, we enjoyed the sushi spot you mentioned. The hidden spots on the tour weren't crowded at all, it was nice actually having space to look around, take pictures, and learn a bit of history without bumping into tourists at every turn. Definitely recommend taking this tour.

The Noru bike tour was a highlight of our visit to Kyoto. Henry, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable, tailored the tour to the group and was friendly and ensured everyone was comfortable throughout. We visited smaller shrines and temples in the north west of Kyoto, rural areas plus the Golden Palace which none of the group had visited at that point. Henry ensured our visits were maximised with his inside knowledge and booking ahead of our arrival. The tour was varied, inclusive and fun. Would highly recommend!

Overall was a great time biking through the backstreets of Kyoto and visiting shrines. Yuta was very informative and a great tour guide. Highly recommend

We had a fantastic time! Our guide, Sean (Shaun? Shawn?), was so kind and gave us the perfect amount of information for every stop we made. He also has good connections and reservations made in advance for the places we visited, so being able to participate in things without waiting in long lines was a big perk. My favorite part of the tour was riding through the quiet forest. Having e-bikes made steep hills easy and the quality of the bikes were amazingly smooth. After the tour Sean gave us the best recommendation for lunch since we were looking for gyoza!

What a wonderful tour with Shawn. We really saw the pearls of Kyoto and he was so kind and really took his time. He also speaks fluent English, which is very nice. We also visited the oldest candy store in the world and it was NOT NORMAL! So nice and real spots you would never come to yourself. Strongly recommended! You also go to places where there are no tourists, which is wonderful!

We absolutely loved the Secret Kyoto E-Biking Tour! Henry, our guide, was fantastic, extremely knowledgeable and with a great sense of humor. Most importantly, he really knows how to tell a story !!! The length and pace were perfect, and Henry took us to fascinating places of Kyoto that we would never have discovered on our own. It felt very natural that a couple from Australia and a couple from Israel had an English guide in Tokyo 🙂 Thank you NORU Kyoto!

What a FANTASTIC way to explore Kyoto! We had a great time joining Noru’s bike tour with our guide Sean! The e-bikes are extremely easy to use and were great to get around on in the hot summer weather. We explored various temples, learned lots of Kyoto history and traditions, plus, we got to enjoy grilled mochi at the famous ichimonjiya wasuke. Overall one of our favorite parts of the trip - also a super fun way to feel more like a local and explore the city. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful way to spend a few hours getting to know the history and non-touristy areas of Kyoto - very worthwhile!
