We spent a wonderful morning with Shawn on a private e-bike tour around the hidden sights of Kyoto. Despite the sweltering heat, we saw fascinating, calm temples (where we were sometimes the only visitors), learned a lot, and experienced a side of Kyoto we would never have seen on our own. Very good bikes too. Thanks!
One of the best experiences with a guide I’ve had. Our guide Sean is more than knowledgeable, friendly, admired by the locals, and tailored to our needs with options and great communication. If we were in Kyoto longer we’d book a tour every single day. You need to book this. It’ll make your trip 1,000 times better
Was not experience worth the money.
Thank you for sharing and we do understand your frustration. We are sorry the tour did not work out on the day. However, we do want to clarify what happened. Our guide was at the meeting point as scheduled, and we did speak with you by phone that morning. Unfortunately, you were in a completely different part of the city at the time, which made it impossible for the tour to proceed. You then proceeded to claim that our guide did not show up on Viator to get a refund. We feel that that is important to address. We always do our best to accommodate our guests, but there is very little we can do when someone is not at the correct location at departure time. We appreciate you understanding our position.
A thrilling bike ride across Kyoto hills and forests of and the insightful visits to the temples and shrines was a perfect combination. Definitely recommend this tour for an authentic way to explore this beautiful city

I can't say enough good things about this excursion. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer questions. The route was adapted to account for the hot weather. Drinks were included. Be sure to wear breathable clothing and comfortable shoes, and bring sunscreen with you.

This tour with Yuta was amazing! We almost cancelled our reservation because we had been on two tours in Tokyo that were terrible and it was really hot. We are all SO glad we didn’t—we had a blast with Yuta and we learned so much. Thank you Yuta! Also the ebikes are new, great, easy to use, and the ride through the forest was so fun!

Brilliant e-bike tour of Kyoto with Sean. We discovered places we wouldn’t have found by ourselves and really enjoyed the conversation and information from Sean. Yuta was absolutely sensational as our guide. This was a magnificent way to see Kyoto and learn about its unique history. Yuta was wealth of knowledge and modified the trip to meet our needs. The hidden shrine he took us to was magical and will be remembered as a highlight of our time in Japan!

Sean was a great guide! I chose the 1pm tour on what was probably the hottest day in Kyoto, but Sean took great care of us. He made sure we hit shade often, and had us stop to re-hydrate! We even biked up to this summit and had the most beautiful view of the city! Highly recommend!!
