De Vaticaanse Musea beschikken over veel kunstwerken die toebehoorden aan de verschillende pausen en zijn vol artistieke schoonheid. Hier is een glimp van enkele van de mooiste dingen die er te zien zijn in de Vaticaanse Musea. Kamers en galerijen van de Vaticaanse Musea, zoals de Griekse Kruiskamer, de Kaartengalerij, de Galerij met Wandtapijten, Raphaelkamers en nog veel meer!
Eenmaal binnen in de Vaticaanse Musea, gaat het rechtstreeks naar het hoofdevenement - de Sixtijnse Kapel. Kijk met ontzag naar het verbluffende plafond van Michelangelo, de schepping van Adam en het Laatste Oordeel, terwijl je de ruimte deelt met je groep en een paar anderen. Neem de tijd - en geniet van elk moment - want dit is een ervaring die je nooit wilt vergeten, aangezien je bijna een van de meest verbazingwekkende creatieve prestaties van de mensheid aanraakt.
Als je dacht dat de omvang van de Vaticaanse Musea overweldigend spectaculair was, tilt de Sint-Pietersbasiliek de ‘wauw-factor’ naar een ander niveau. De enorme capaciteit van het interieur is genoeg om elke bezoeker te laten zoeken naar woorden om de uitgestrektheid ervan te beschrijven. Met een lengte van 180 meter, een breedte van 25 meter en een hoogte van 44 meter duurde de bouw vanaf 1506 maar liefst 120 jaar. Bewonder Michelangelo's ongeëvenaarde meesterwerk van Pietà en wandel naar het middenschip rechts om Bernini's bronzen Baldakijn te bekijken, dat er direct bovenop staat. de plaats van het graf van Sint-Pieters.

- De Sint-Pietersbasiliek is een actieve parochie en daarom onderhevig aan last-minute sluitingen vanwege mis of andere religieuze gebeurtenissen. In deze gevallen bieden we een uitgebreide rondleiding door de Vaticaanse Musea (inclusief gebieden die normaal gesproken geen deel uitmaken van de rondleiding). Er worden geen terugbetalingen erkend voor onverwachte sluitingen.
- Uw tourvoucher is alleen geldig voor de gereserveerde dag en tijd. We kunnen late aankomsten niet opvangen vanwege een strikt getimed toegangsticket voor de Vaticaanse Musea. Gemiste tours of tickets als gevolg van late aankomsten worden niet gerestitueerd. Houd rekening met extra tijd om het ontmoetingspunt te bereiken, omdat de straten van Rome verwarrend kunnen zijn. Ontmoetingstijd is 15 minuten voor aanvang van de tour.
- ALLE deelnemers MOETEN hun knieën en schouders bedekken tijdens bezoeken aan religieuze plaatsen, inclusief de Vaticaanse Musea. U kunt het risico lopen de toegang te worden geweigerd als u zich niet aan deze kledingvereisten houdt.

- Dit is een 3 uur durende rondleiding.
- Onder de 18 jaar 0-6 jaar moet boeken als "Kind"; onder de 18 jaar 7-17 jaar moet boeken als "Jeugd". Dit moet de leeftijd zijn die ze zullen hebben op de dag van de tour met ons. Als u niet correct boekt, kunnen we uw kind niet binnen de musea krijgen.

Our guide was Francesca. She was amazing, knowledgeable and had a fun wit about her. What an amazing experience to see everything we did in person. Once they add in AC to some of the exhibit areas, it’ll be a 5/5 star experience.
Robert was a great guide that had lots of historical knowledge. He pointed us in the directions of unknown but important pieces. So much too see. There’s no possible way of seeing eve in one day.

My wife and I had an amazing tour with Yanira Morales – Fabbro. This young lady might be the best tour guide we have ever experienced. She has an incredible knowledge of every part of the Vatican. She always has a smile on her face, is incredibly friendly, seems to know every other tour guide in the Vatican and is incredibly well liked by all of them. She has a very nice way of explaining in great detail every room in the Vatican. Her knowledge is amazing. While she referred to some pictures that she carries in her backpack, I do not believe she needed them. She used them as a way for her to better explain details on what she was showing us. While I have an adversity to large crowds, she seamlessly worked her way through all of the rooms easily, avoiding the crowds and keeping us in areas where I did not feel crowded. We were never rushed, walked at our own pace while she calmly explained every single thing that we wanted to learn about. If you were lucky enough to have Yanira as your travel guide, you are guaranteed to have an incredible adventure, no matter where you go with her. The Viator tour was very good, we have taken several with them in Rome and have several more booked for the rest of our journey across Italy. If all of them go as well as the Vatican tour, we will have had an amazing trip Alan and Leah.

What an incredible tour. We had Carlotta the tour guide who could not have been more enthused, impassioned and most importantly so so knowledgeable of every aspect of the Vatican. She knew so much and made our time in the Sistine Chapel so much more incredible by preparing us. Her knowledge of the maps of italy, the history and changes of the Vatican made me really feel as a non religious member, deeply connected to the roots of the Vatican and the Basilica. My husband and I took the private all day tour of Rome. We started at the Vatican which included the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica. We also toured the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and The Spanish Steps. Lunch was at an amazing authentic pizzeria. Our tour guide Danielle was amazing…so knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to spend the day with. She pointed out so many other historical places of interest. The day spent in Rome will go down as one of the best memories we’ve made.
