- Houd er rekening mee dat, bij besluit van het Vaticaan, buitengewone onderhoudswerken zullen worden uitgevoerd aan het Laatste Oordeel van Michelangelo in de Sixtijnse Kapel van 12 januari tot 31 maart. Gedurende deze periode zal een steigerconstructie de gehele muur bedekken, en zal Het Laatste Oordeel niet zichtbaar zijn.
- De Sixtijnse Kapel is niet beschikbaar voor rondleidingen op 9 en 10 januari, vanwege de Vaticaanse planning.

Very interesting visit especially thanks to the guide Paolo Soro who has a thorough knowledge of the Vatican museums and the Sistine Chapel and a captivating way of explaining. I cannot give the highest grade just because we paid for a tour that should also include the entrance to St. Peter’s Basilica with a guided tour while we were told only after payment that this part of the tour was not included due to an error on the site (which as far as I know has not yet been fixed thus misleading users). This, however, is not due to the guide that I want to reiterate is really competent

Just yesterday my husband, I and other friends took the guided tour of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. It was a wonderful experience, in addition to the wonders we were able to see, I must say that the Doooing staff was very kind and punctual, the guide Giuliana was very good and very knowledgeable. Really recommended!
I'm disappointed not to remember the name of our tour guide as she was excellent. Very knowledgable and guided us at a nice pace to allow pictures and time to take in the wonderful sights.

terrible experience, the guide was Giuliana, there were 19 of us and no one could hear well with the audio guide, she spoke slowly, we saw the Vatican museums quickly, the explanations inside the basilica were not very detailed and rushed.
The experience was very good, but we're very disappointed regarding the 'school of athens'. GetYourGuide indicate the 'Raffaello rooms' are available for the visit in the morning, and we choose this tour for this, but the guide says they are not included. GetYourGuide indicate them, and also this tour reports 'Hear the stories behind the renowned School of Athens' but it's not true! There are no Raffaello rooms and no School of Athens. The visit and the guide were almost perfect, but we choose to pay double other experiences because the Raffaello rooms, and we didn't see them.

I had the opportunity to book a tour of the Vatican Museums through the Doooing travel agency (recommended by a friend of mine) and I must say that it was an amazing experience. From the beginning, I noticed how professional and organized they were. Booking was quick and easy, and the staff was extremely helpful in answering my questions and providing all the information I needed.
