Deze ervaring stelt u in staat om te genieten van enkele van de beroemdste artistieke schatten ter wereld, de hoogtepunten van de Vaticaanse Musea en de galerieën, waaronder Michelangelo's fresco meesterwerk van het plafond van de Sixtijnse Kapel. Na deze meeslepende wandeling wordt u ook naar het Sint-Pietersplein geleid om de Sint-Pietersbasiliek te bewonderen, de grootste basiliek ter wereld, bekend om het inspirerende Bernini interieurontwerp en de Michelangelo prachtige “Pietà”. (van buitenaf - geen intern bezoek )

U wordt naar het Sint-Pietersplein geleid en de basiliek wordt van buitenaf uitgelegd - er is geen intern bezoek voorzien. Na de tour kunt u besluiten om op eigen gelegenheid naar binnen te gaan om het te bezoeken.

- Kledingvoorschrift vereist om de gebedshuizen en geselecteerde musea te betreden. Shorts of mouwloze tops zijn niet toegestaan. Knieën en schouders MOETEN bedekt zijn voor zowel mannen als vrouwen. De toegang is mogelijk niet toegestaan voor degenen die deze regels niet respecteren.
- De touroperator is niet verantwoordelijk voor last-minute, onvoorspelbare sluitingen, stakingen of vakbondsbijeenkomsten van de Sint-Pietersbasiliek. Desalniettemin biedt de touroperator klanten graag een verlengde tour aan voor de resterende tijd.
- Zorg dat je 10 minuten voor aanvang van de tour op het ontmoetingspunt bent. De gids vertrekt 15 minuten na de starttijd van de tour vanaf het ontmoetingspunt. Bij een vertraging van meer dan 15 minuten vindt geen restitutie plaats.
- De Basiliek wordt van buitenaf uitgelegd - GEEN INTERN BEZOEK INBEGREPEN!
- Tickets kosten - Volwassene : €25 - Gereduceerd : €15 (leeftijd 7–17) Gratis : Kinderen jonger dan 6 jaar hebben gratis toegang.

I hired this tour via my hotel. It was to be uner 10 persons, but there were 11 or 12. The tour guide from the beginning had a poor attitude. She was annoyed as there were so many guests for which English was not their primary language. The paying guests were not complaining! She always walked far ahead in the crowded Vatican and recited her verbiage that we could have purchased from a book. ...but it gets worse. In the Cistene Chapel she just walk ahead not paying attention where were her psying guests. AND she left an 80 year old Asian, limited English speaking women behind. This old lady was lost and panicked and did not know what to do. This guide did not even backtrack to find her..so I spent the next 1.5 hour 'babysitting' an 80 year old to find her family. Her pathetic excuse." There were other paying customers ". Happily I found her family at the Vatican exit. The tour guide had already left the Vatican! I complained to the Tour Company as I wanted my money refunded. However, they just said this tour guide felt bad and was crying, but how about the 80 year old anxious and crying old lady? I would NEVER use or recommend this guide again, or this Tour company. I advised Hotel Baglioni Roma too as to what an uncaring, unprofessional rip-off vendor. There is no possible excuse. JMR

Going to the Vatican, Sistine chapel, and St. Peter’s is a must do. Our tour guide helped us by pointing out the super important details so we were focused when seeing the big picture. One could spend hours, even days in each of these, but the tour guide really pointed out what things to look for and the important things. We did not feel too rushed even though we did go by a lot of things. There is just so much to see!

Spontaneously booked this small group tour a day before and were lucky enough to have our guide Emiglia to ourselves (maximum of up to 12 participants would have been possible). We were picked up on time at the hotel and driven to the Vatican Museums where Emiglia was expecting us. The tour was very exciting but the time was only enough to look at the highlights but what we were told in advance and was perfect for us. In the Sistine Chapel we had about 15 minutes to admire them. Afterwards we went on to St. Peter's Basilica, as direct access from it to St. Peter's Basilica is currently blocked due to COVID, we decided to take the taxi to St. Peter's Basilica to save a little bit of time and feet. Afterwards we were told again the history of St. Peter's Basilica and its highlights, after which Emiglia said goodbye and we were able to linger there a little bit more independently. We really enjoyed the tour although it is relatively stressful to watch everything during 3h. But for us it was perfect to be able to do this in a short time.

Sonia guided us for three hours on a private tour of the Vatican Museum. His explanations were fascinating and really helped us understand the long history of the Vatican and its promotion of art through the centuries.
