Je wordt om 05.30 uur opgehaald bij je hotel [dit verandert afhankelijk van de zonsopgangstijd] en naar de oever van de rivier gebracht voor een boottocht bij zonsopgang. Een boottocht bij zonsopgang in Varanasi is werkelijk een magische ervaring. Terwijl de zon opkomt boven de horizon, komt de stad tot leven met het geluid van gezangen, gebeden en het spatten van water. Je zult mensen zien baden in de Ganges, puja's uitvoeren en gebeden opzeggen. Stap hierna van de boot en stap op Manikarnika Ghat.

Later op de dag, rond het middaguur, bezoekt u Sarnath, een belangrijk boeddhistisch pelgrimsoord. Het is waar Heer Boeddha voor het eerst de Dharma predikte nadat hij de verlichting had bereikt. Je ontdekt oude ruïnes van kloosters en stoepa's, bezoekt het Sarnath Museum om artefacten te bekijken, bent getuige van het vredige hertenpark waar Boeddha zijn eerste preek hield en bezoekt de Dhamek Stupa, een gerespecteerd boeddhistisch monument. I'm glad my Japanese guide (Mr. Om Prakesh) was good at Japanese. On the first day, my English assistant (Mr. Sunil) took me to lunch, but I checked the number of reviews on Google and found that the restaurant was a bit anxious. Also, the air conditioning was not working very well and I was concerned about hygiene, so I wanted them to show me to a shop where I could feel more secure.

The guides were very good at Japanese and they explained the history and culture of each tourist destination in an easy-to-understand manner, which allowed me to enjoy sightseeing more deeply. On the other hand, it was a bit disappointing that the souvenir shops we stopped at along the way seemed to be partners, giving us a long shopping time.
