Assi Ghat, stad's meest prominente bad Ghat, de boottocht neemt je mee door de 5000 jaar oude geschiedenis van Varanasi, die ook wordt beschouwd als een van 's werelds oudste levende steden. Weg van de drukte van de stad, geniet van een surrealistische zonsopgang, drijvend op de heilige rivier.
De boottocht eindigt bij Manikarnika, de crematie Ghat van Varanasi, die de reis van een persoon van geboorte tot dood markeert en uiteindelijk de zaligheid bereikt. Je leert van je gids de legendes en verhalen die de stad samen binden sinds onheuglijke tijden.
Kashi Vishwanath-tempel om 07:30 uur, doorkruisend door de legendarische smalle straatjes van Varanasi. Deze 17e-eeuwse tempel is gewijd aan Lord Shiva en heeft de reputatie een van de meest bezochte tempels in Noord-India te zijn. Neem deel aan het ochtendritueel Pooja (ceremoniële gebeden) en krijg inzicht in de cultuur en tradities van het hindoeïsme.
Sankat Mochan-tempel, opgedragen aan de apengod van de hindoeïstische mythologie. "Sankat Mochan" betekent letterlijk degene die je bevrijdt van alle problemen, en deze oude tempel wordt verondersteld goddelijke kracht te hebben. Toegewijden komen massaal samen en bieden gele snoepjes aan de godheid van de tempel "Hanumana".
Vishwanath-tempel, ook wel de Birla-tempel genoemd, is gemaakt als replica van de oorspronkelijke tempel met ingewikkeld houtsnijwerk op prachtig wit marmer.

Gets Holidays was fantastic! They answered all my questions quickly over WhatsApp and email, and everyone I met from the company was super punctual. Our driver, tour guide in Varanasi, and even the local tour manager all showed up right on time. The tempo traveller we used was clean and comfortable, and our guide in Varanasi was friendly and helpful. Plus, they even gave us free bottled water throughout the day, which was a nice touch! <p>The boat ride and the first 10mins of the walking tour was good -but is mainly private temples not the big one as expected and breakfast was at the end of the walking tour and was just a cafe.</p>
