Shirakawa-go staat op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO en is een van de must-see bestemmingen tijdens een bezoek aan deze regio. Tijdens deze begeleide tour van een halve dag reis je van Takayama naar Shirakawa-go en geniet je van een wandeling door het prachtige traditionele dorp omgeven door rijke natuur. Een lokale Gids laat je niet alleen kennismaken met Shirakawa-go, maar ook met de Japanse cultuur, geschiedenis en het lokale leven. Je Gids ontmoet je om 7.30 uur in het Nohi Bus Center in Takayama. Na een bezoek aan Shirakawa-go keert de tour rond 12.30 uur terug naar dezelfde locatie. Deze tour vereist een minimum van 2 deelnemers. Onze reguliere rondleiding wordt in het Engels gegeven. Neem vooraf contact met ons op als u een Chinese, Italiaans sprekende Gids wilt aanvragen. We kunnen ook andere privétours regelen, zoals Kamikochi, Takayama stadswandeltochten en meer.

Yasushi, our guide, provided us with an informative and entertaining tour. His knowledge was great and he communicated well. Shirakawa is an interesting place in the mountains. It was a bright day and there was snow on the ground. It made for good photos. Happy to recommend this tour.
Our half day trip to Shirakawago from Takayama was a memorable experience. We arrived well before the crowds that appeared later in the day and were treated to an enchanting snow covered village that was a privilege to visit. Our guide, Malong, was a great driver and host and he really made the trip a great one. He took us to a number of points of interest in the village that most people probably missed and had great local connections.
I booked this as I wanted someone to explain to me and my family what we were seeing. Yama met us at the Shirakawago bus terminal and then took us around. I was travelling with 5 seniors, all above 70. Yama was patient and accommodated their pace especially when walking up and down the viewpoint. Having a guide was especially helping when touring the museum as Yama took time to explain what we were seeing. This was my 2md time to Shirakawago and I got so much more this time. The tour ended with lunch when a table was already reserved for us and we could order any set from the menu. Good day out.

Yama was a fantastic guide. Although this is my 2nd visit to Shirakawa-go, I find this tour very informative and insightful. A truly enjoyable tour!!

We organized this private tour from Takayama and Yama accompanied us first to shirakawa-go where we spent a half morning and despite the snow we enjoyed the village very well in the afternoon public omsen attended mainly by Japanese unique experience beautiful also the outside Thank Yama for His kindness and helpfulness and recommend this tour

Loved the tour of Shirakawa-go. The tour guide Yama was really helpful in understanding the details of the place. Got to see the best views of the town! Would recommend to any tourist in the area (Takayama)

Me and my freind hade a day trip with yama, and it was a great time, yama picked us up from the hotel and explain us a lot about the city and the places on the way to shirakawa-go. He was very nice and have a lot of knowledge about the places we visited. The price was really good compare to other companies, and yama himself is a great person. Really recommmend
