Vanuit Paphos: Aphrodite's Baths en Blue Lagoon (Akamas) dagtrip
Beschrijving
Op het programma staan twee spannende reizen: een busreis en daarna een zeecruise op een schip. We zullen een uniek natuurlijk landschap zien, dat zeegrotten vormt. We gaan naar een kleine schaduwrijke tuin, waar een grot is met een romantische naam: het Bad van Aphrodite. Een andere stop is het vissersdorpje Latchi, vanuit wiens haven we onze reis per schip naar de blauwe lagune zullen voortzetten.

Uniek natuurlijk landschap, dit gebied kan worden omschreven als een unieke plaats van uitstekende schoonheid, geologisch en biologisch belang Ook bevindt zich hier bananenplantages - Paphos is de enige regio in Cyprus waar bananenplantages groeien.
Boottocht naar de blauwe lagune: de mogelijkheid om de kust te zien zone van het Akamas-reservaat vanaf de zee, evenals zwemmen en snorkelen in kristalhelder water
Een klein vissersdorpje, vanwaar we een boottocht maken naar Blue
In de schaduwrijke tuin is een grot waar water langs een rotswand stroomt en een plas vormt tussen het mos. Het is hier dat de legende zegt dat Aphrodite zou komen baden. Volgens de Griekse mythologie ontmoette ze haar minnaar Adonis bij het zwembad toen hij stopte voor een drankje tijdens het jagen. Dit is UNESCO-werelderfgoed.
Authentiek lokaal dorp met mogelijkheid om te dineren in een van de lokale tavernes (niet inbegrepen in de prijs)

Voor sommige hotels in Paphos bieden we ophaalpunten binnen 3-5 minuten lopen/rijden (vanwege toegankelijkheidsbeperkingen voor het hotel en logistieke redenen) Voor degenen die in appartementen verblijven, proberen we ophaalpunten zo dichtbij mogelijk te bieden. !Belangrijk! Exceptional Tour guide Anna, well managed, excellent communication, perfect times on each leg of tour - an outstanding experience
Great, varied trip, with varied stops. Guide was friendly and informative Only negative was on the boat to the Blue Lagoon, smoking was permitted therefore exposed to several passengers smoking and vaping which was quite unpleasant
The kids (teenagers} were keen to visit the blue lagoon. There's so many companies selling tours and variations, it feels like a bit of a minefield. In the end, we looked at trip advisor reviews. Glad we did. The day trip to the blue lagoon and the stops on route was perfect for us. It was very well organised with communication texted in advance to advise of meeting times and locations. The driver was friendly. The guide, Anna, was friendly too, she was knowledgeable, caring and organised. A really worthwhile trip - highly recommended.
Pros: Gallina, our guide, was wonderful and the glass of wine/fruit in the boat was a nice touch. Places seen were as promised and communication with the tour agency was great. Cons: the bus smelled like an ashtray and there were simply too many people on the tour. Trying to get on/off the boat to swim was like fighting for your life…people pushing and shoving, children screaming…truly crazy! This kind of tour is fine for rowdy groups with kids, but would not recommend for solos or couples.
Blue lagoon was amazing, beautiful and plenty of opportunity for swimming. Tour stops interesting and great photo opportunities. Kids 12 and 14 enjoyed it too!
I went on several tours with ConstrucTours when in Cyprus. A great way to the country via day trips. this particular day trip was delightful. The Blue Lagoon was truly blue. We had a chance to swim in the Mediterranea, followed by a complimentary glass of wine! This was the highlight of the day. The bus picked me up and returned me to my hotel. My only concern is not enough time to make the walk to Aphrodite's baths, enjoy the sight, and return to the bus. another 10-15 minutes is needed.
Liked the guide very well. Cosy and nice trip, is definitely recommended. Perfect if you are concerned with a little culture combined with kos.
