07.30 uur: onze gids verwelkomt u op ons kantoor op SST Travel - 57 Le Thi Hong Gam, District 1, of in uw hotel in District 1 voordat u met de bus naar de stad My Tho gaat. Passeer groene rijstvelden voordat je aankomt in het prachtige landelijke My Tho - het hart van de Mekong Delta-regio.
De eerste stop is de Vinh Trang-pagode. Verken en bewonder de unieke architectuur van deze historische plek, die een mix van Vietnamese, Khmer- en Chinese invloeden bevat.
Ga verder naar My Tho, waar we een boottocht maken langs de Mekong rivier, waar je viskooien en drijvende huizen op de rivier kunt zien
De boot brengt je naar een klein kanaal, om te ontsnappen aan de drukte van de stad. We stappen uit bij een kokosnooteiland in Ben Tre en genieten van een wandeling door het dorp. Stop bij een lokaal familiehuis om te genieten van tropisch fruit, proef de honingthee en honingwijn en luister naar Vietnamese traditionele muziek die wordt uitgevoerd door de dorpelingen. Bekijk de kokosnoot snoepwinkel en leer hoe je snoep maakt, en bekijk handwerk gemaakt van de kokosnoten. De lunch is voorzien van speciaal Vietnamees eten. Geniet van je lunch buiten in de schaduw van de bomen. Na de lunch kun je genieten van je tijd om te ontspannen, rond te lopen in het dorp of misschien een korte fietstocht te maken.
Reis terug naar Saigon en arriveer rond 16.30 - 17.00 uur voor het einde van de tour.
