04:00 – Ophalen bij je hotel in Negombo en transfer naar Wilpattu National Park. 07:00 – Aankomst in het park, genieten van een uitgebreid ontbijt en beginnen aan de ochtendsafari. Wilpattu staat bekend om zijn rustige sfeer, natuurlijke willus (meren), dichte bossen met droge zones, rijke vogels en wilde dieren zoals luipaarden, luiaardberen, herten, wilde zwijnen en krokodillen. 12 : 30 – Picknicklunch op een schilderachtige locatie. 13 : 30 – 18 : 00 – Avond game drive. 18 :00 – Transfer naar uw hotel in Negombo.

It's a 3 hour journey to the national Park so 6 hours plus about 8 hours in the park. Guide was a good spotter but due to his lack of English he didn't explain much. Did see a leopard from a distance

<p>it was a very long day but that didn't matter because it was well worth it - Demitha our driver collected us at 4am so it was good to know we were in safe hands for the long drive - he was a good driver - you need to know what your doing on the roads here and he was helpful and looked after us very well. Wilpattu was amazing the guide there were excellent and we were lucky enough to see two leopards as well as elephants, monkeys, deer, mongoose and lots of lovely birds</p>
