We ontmoeten elkaar op het Bazel SBB treinstation en genieten vervolgens van een schilderachtige treinrit van 3 uur door adembenemende landschappen tot Zermatt
Vervolgens springen we op een 30 minuten durende tandradtreinrit tot 10.000 voet, waar u wordt begroet door een prachtig uitzicht op de Matterhorn en de omliggende gletsjers. Op de top van de Gornergrat (3135 m) kunnen we het hele jaar door genieten van sneeuw en een panoramisch uitzicht op meer dan 20 majestueuze toppen, waaronder Monte Rosa en Liskamm. Geniet van het adembenemende landschap of verken de interactieve multimedia-ervaring die de alpine wereld van de Matterhorn tot leven brengt. We hebben ook 1 uur voor lunch en vrije tijd.
Terwijl u in Zermatt Village bent, begeleiden we u tijdens het bezoek, delen we de fascinerende geschiedenis van het dorp en zijn traditionele architectuur, wandelen we door de charmante oude stad, met zijn iconische houten chalets die Zermatt zijn alpine karakter geven. What an amazing trip to see the Matterhorn. We had beautiful weather and the scenery was breathtaking. Our guide, Juliana, was wonderful and helped us easily navigate the multiple train transfers. She was very knowledgeable about the region and helped us locate the perfect photo ops, and recommended an excellent Italian restaurant for lunch. Juliana was the perfect guide for our epic adventure!

I took the "From Basel: Zermatt and Matterhorn in Private Day Tour" with Switzerland Viva Tours and was very disappointed. The guide was unprofessional and unhelpful, the provided meals were low quality, and the price was far too high for what we received. Beautiful scenery, but the service ruined the day. I would not recommend this tour.

It is a long day but so worth it. The Matterhorn and the area around it is so amazing. The pictures don’t do it justice. The train ride to the Alps was good. The windows on the train are very large so you can enjoy the countryside. Our guide was great. He gave us lots of great information and showed us so much. He was so patient as we were two elderly ladies and needed to rest some and walk slow. It was well worth the money.
We decided to go to the Matterhorn one day in advance! We were able to book a private tour with Julianne. We had a wonderful train ride to Zermatt and then on the cog train to the top of the Matterhorn. Julianne suggested eating at the restaurant on top. Best meal of our trip. The Raclette was amazing!! We made it back to Zermatt in time to see the Goat Parade! Back to Basel on the train with no issues! Thanks for a great day from the north to the south and back!

Zermatt is gorgeous in the pictures but even better when you see it by yourself. One of those places to be seen during life time. Everything was well organized and Josue was very friendly and a super person to spend time with. We had a great day!
Jon was very friendly and always accomodating our requests. The destination is stunning, and while the trip can be lengthy for those traveling from Basel, the scenic journey makes it worthwhile. I highly recommend it to anyone. One of the biggest advantages is the small group size, which makes it easy to stay organized and connected.
After a good tour in Basel with them, we decided to book Zermatt tour for the next day since we were staying for the weekend. So glad we did—breathtaking views and a seamless experience. (enjoyed to travel by train)
