Doe mee met dit 'Game of Thrones'-avontuur dat teruggaat in de tijd naar het middeleeuwse Girona. De prachtig bewaarde stad was het decor voor' Game of Thrones 'in het zesde seizoen. Het is een onvergetelijke kans om populaire personages te leren kennen. en om de sfeer van dit juweel uit de middeleeuwen op te snuiven. Lunch is ook inbegrepen in een door een familie gerund restaurant.

8.45 uur - Je begint je dag op ons hoofdkantoor, direct naast het beroemde Palau de la Musica. Je zult je gids ontmoeten, tijd hebben om de toiletten te gebruiken en misschien zelfs een snelle koffie pakken voordat de tour begint. Je gids legt alles uit over de komende dag en wat je kunt verwachten terwijl je wacht tot je tour vertrekt.
9.00 uur - Je verlaat Barcelona via de wijk Eixample in de stad. Terwijl u de stad verlaat, geeft uw gids u een korte geschiedenis van Barcelona, voordat u achterover leunt en ontspant tijdens de 60 minuten durende rit naar Girona.
10.00 uur - Tijdens de rit van een uur naar Girona geeft je gids je een korte historische introductie van de stad Girona en Catalonië. Eenmaal in Girona volg je het spoor van sleutelfiguren zoals onder meer Arya, Jaime en Margaery Tyrell op de belangrijkste filmlocaties van de show. Gedurende de dag deelt uw gids op elke locatie foto's, zodat u kunt achterhalen wat er nodig is om de populaire show te filmen en te produceren. Tijdens het bezoek pakken we ook een heerlijk ijslollystokje, de gouden hand van Ser Jaime. Rond uw verkenning van Girona af en neem de tijd om door de middeleeuwse steegjes en de Joodse wijk te dwalen en te genieten van de historische architectuur. Na wat vrije tijd ontmoet u de gids en rijdt u naar een familierestaurant voor een stevige lunch met veel van de lokale specialiteiten.
13.00 uur - We rijden vanuit Girona en stoppen in Blanes, de toegangspoort tot de Costa Brava. We stoppen in een door een familie gerund lokaal restaurant voor een stevige lunch met veel van de lokale specialiteiten. De eigenaar verwelkomt ons met een zelfgemaakte sangria, gevolgd door een brede selectie lokale voorgerechten, hoofdgerechten en desserts. Vanaf hier gaan we naar onze laatste stop, een nabijgelegen middeleeuws kasteel.
16.00 uur - Onze laatste stop geeft ons de kans om een goed bewaard middeleeuws kasteel te bezoeken en te genieten van het prachtige uitzicht. Het kasteel dateert uit de dertiende en veertiende eeuw, en er zijn genoeg overblijfselen van de structuren om te laten zien hoe imposant het ooit geweest moet zijn. Na wat vrije tijd gaan we terug naar Barcelona, waar we rond 17:30 uur aankomen.
17.30 - 17.45 uur - We eindigen de dag op Plaça Catalunya. Vanaf hier kunt u gemakkelijk de metro of taxi terug naar uw hotel nemen. Anders zal uw gids met plezier enkele aanbevelingen doen over waar u kunt dineren.

The tour was awesome! Tourists were able to see the different filming locations of GOT in Girona. The tour leader, Sergio is very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and made all the members of the group involved during the tour. He’s always giving us insights and some history of Girona and of course about the GOT filming sites. Also, Sergio drove the car very safely all throughout the trip. Don’t hesitate to ask him for some restaurant and food recommendations. Kudos to Sergio! The lunch included in the tour was delicious and it was a complete course meal! I highly recommend this tour to everyone planning a trip to Barcelona. It’s worth it!
Unfortunately we did not get to experience this tour as the operators informed us that it was not available in our chosen day! Instead we were offered a tour which took us to Girona and the filming sites of Game of Thrones without the commentary. Our guide did provide basic information though. Sadly though, an ice cream and lunch were included in our original tour but we we’re not offered these on our tour and we were also not discounted! I cannot fault our guide Xavi, he was amazing! I feel the operators could have compensated us though! Xavi was an excellent guide showing us the best spots for photos and driving us safely through some difficult situations. Thank you for an enjoyable day out Xavi!🙏
The best decision on our Barcelona holiday. Just mega. We booked the complete program. Game of Thrones movie sets were awesome. The lunch included in the price was great. Our Guid Steven was mega accommodating and took his time he knows very well and you filled up well. Definitely worth every penny. Would book it again.

The tour was incredible, and a big part of that was Enrique incredible ability to bring it to life. His engaging personality and ability to make the tour feel a truly memorable experience.
Enrique was possibly the best tour guide we have ever had and we’ve had a lot of tours. He was very engaging, funny and full of knowledge. The tour itself was worth it but he made it so complete.
The drive is about an hour to get there. Be advised: Girona has a lot of stairs! We enjoyed the tour and the sights. Cam, our tour guide, was very enthusiastic about the locations and the scenes. We both really enjoyed the tour!

Our tour guide, Camilo was friendly, entertaining AND a HUGE GOT fan! After the lengthy tour we got to explore on our own in Girona. Followed by a delicious lunch in the countryside and a stop at a castle with amazing views of the seaside. Was nice to get out of Barcelona for the day and explore.
This was an amazing tour. Sergio, our guide, helped us visualize the scenes filmed in Girona by showing us the pictures as we approached the areas where the scenes were filmed. He knew the movies and the GOT books, therefore there were no details missed. Our lunch was delicious. The castle in Blane’s had spectacular views of Costa Brava. Sergio made the tour feel like we were a group of friends hanging out touring the world. Hats off to Sergio for a wonderful tour of the GOT and Costa Brava.
