Khao Yai National Park, dat op de werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO staat, is een van de oudste nationale parken van het land, waar je allerlei soorten dieren kunt vinden - van zoogdieren en reptielen tot vogels en insecten - in het gebied.
Dit schilderachtige natuurpad toont diverse bostypen, waaronder volwassen droog bos, secundair bos en graslanden. Hoge banyan- en java-pruimenbomen bieden schaduw en trekken wilde dieren aan, waardoor een natuurlijk "restaurant voor wilde dieren" ontstaat. Bezoekers kunnen tekenen van olifanten en gaur tegenkomen, neushoornvogels zien nestelen of gibbons die door het bladerdak slingeren. Het pad eindigt bij de Nong Phak Chi Observation Tower, wat uitstekende mogelijkheden biedt om wilde dieren te bekijken.
Haew Suwat Waterval (Pak Chong) is een van de meest pittoreske waterpartijen van het park, met koele watervallen en weelderige landschappen.
Bezoek Lamtakong Camping bij de Haew Suwat Waterval en zie het hele jaar door herten over het terrein dwalen – perfect voor snelle foto's in de natuur.
Verken de Haew Narok Waterval, de hoogste in Khao Yai. Geniet van een weids uitzicht op de jungle na een schilderachtige wandeling naar deze dramatische, meerlaagse waterval.

The trip was very nice, the jungle is beautiful. Pick up and drop off a bit tricky with the traffic jam sometimes. However, I expected more from the guide: - the guide called me half an hour before the agreed time to ask where I was, and called 5 times in the half hour to the agreed time. He also asked if I could give the phone to the taxi driver to confirm that I was on my way. I did not feel very welcome because of this; - virtually nothing has been told about nature or animals; - the guide has been ahead during the trail, occasionally ringing loudly; - the guide did not warn us about leeches and when we had to climb a piece through / over water he did not help us. All in all definitely recommended, but I expected more from the guide (Pitphasin) That may of course also be me, have not done this before.

Guide Angie was absolutely wonderful! She was knowledgeable about the area and had many facts to share about Thailand. She was accommodating to our family and consistently asked for our input. We saw gibbons, monkeys, deer, kimono dragons, and Chinese water dragons. Overall, a great experience.

This was a fun trip. You spend quite some time in the bus from Bangkok, but it's worth it. Angie was a great guide, she spoke really good English, was funny and knowledgeable. If you want a one day escape from the city, I can recommend this trip to you.

We had an amazing time on this tour! Our tour guide, Phan, was so kind and was very eager to answer all of our questions and make sure we were all happy. She and the park ranger made sure to point out the many different animals and animal noises. While we didn't see a hornbill, we did see an elephant on the side of the road and some monkeys and deer! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time with Phan! She and the park ranger were so kind to us and eager to point out the different animals, animal noises, and waterfalls. Though we were only able to hear a hornbill, we were able to see an elephant from the side of the road! She also was so cute and bought us local curry puffs to try, which was delicious. Highly recommend!

Beautiful small group excursion, nothing to complain about. As ordered during my booking, I had a pick up at the hotel but I was not brought back despite it being written on tripadvisor to and from the hotel 😤. Very disappointed on this point.

It was nice to get away from Bangkok to explore the forest nearby. The locations are 2 waterfalls, a camping ground and a hike through the forest. The hiking was fun but the guide was moving very fast and her english was hard to understand at times. I also feel that the price is a little high given that lunch was not included. We saw deer, monkeys and various insects along the trail. Overall a good day out.

Cherry was an excellent guide and we had a great day out, with lots of animals to be seen - deer, monkeys, monitor lizards, so many butterflies - but the highlight was seeing a wild elephant. It truly was a magical experience
