Aburi Botanical Gardens is een tuin in de oostelijke regio van Ghana. De tuin heeft een oppervlakte van 64,8 hectare. Gouverneur William Brandford-Griffith en de Sierra Leone arts Dr. John Farrell Easmon hebben de tuinen aangelegd, die bestaan uit uitgestrekte gazons gevuld met zowel lokale als buitenlandse bomen en flora, en ze werden officieel ingehuldigd in maart 1890. This is definitely worth booking. Our tour guide, Kwame and our driver, Elvis were an amazing duo. We were warmly greeted and provided water on pick up. As we were en route, they pointed out significant sights and presented historical references. They even went above and beyond by offering to take group photos. The restaurant that we stopped at for lunch provided delicious meal and beverage choices. I liked that we placed our order at the restaurant early so that our food was served hot and promptly. I would definitely take this tour again.

We had a lovely day with Emmanuel K, he was very helpful and accommodating, and had lots of knowledge that he was keen to share with us all. The other people in our group were lovely too. The day was well planned and waterfalls, cocoa farm and Arburi Gardens were all excellent, our guide on the Arburi Gardens (Richard) was excellent, very knowledgeable and passionate about all the plants and the history of the gardens. Would 100% recommend to anyone wanting to see a bit more of Ghana outside of Accra, beautiful countryside.

I enjoyed the variety of locations we visited, our guides weee very knowledgeable of all the locations. The Umbrella Rock was a little challenging to get to but our guides were there to assist and make sure we were able to enjoy the attraction.
