Vanuit Abano Terme: Beleef Venetië in een kleine groep
Beschrijving
We brengen je door de smalle en rustige Venetiaanse straten tussen de sestiere van Cannaregio en het oude Joodse Ghetto, de prachtige vitrines van de antiekwinkels en de traditionele winkels. We kunnen stoppen voor een geweldige espresso in de kleine rooster van de stad die al bijna een eeuw hetzelfde recept gebruikt. We zullen niet vergeten om de Rialto-brug over te steken, we zullen dus een "schuine straat" betreden om een prachtige foto van het Canal Grande te maken. Bij de lunch vindt u een restaurant in een oude bacaro verstopt zich tussen de smalle en ingewikkelde steegjes van Venetië waar u kunt genieten van uitstekende cicchets van de Venetiaanse traditie, anders zullen we u het meest geschikte alternatief aanraden. We bereiken Piazza San Marco, omringd door de belangrijkste paleizen en bereiken de Ponte dei Sospiri. Na zoveel wandelen keren we terug naar het station aan boord van de vaporetto en bekijken de paleizen met uitzicht op het Canal Grande.

Loop door de Joodse getto van Venetië
In Cannaregio vinden we het station Santa Lucia in Venetië en de hoofdstraat, Strada Nova genaamd, die het station verbindt met het Rialto-gebied. Er is ook het Joodse getto, een gebied waar de Joodse gemeenschap in de Napoleontische tijd verplicht was te leven. De belangrijkste winkelstraten zijn Strada Nova en Lista di Spagna, maar ook bezocht door jongeren voor bars of als ontmoetingsplaats. Mis het gebied van clubs en restaurants in Cannaregio niet, dat zich in het noordelijke deel van de sestiere bevindt, meer bepaald tussen het Joodse getto en de Fondamenta Nuove. Tot op heden vertegenwoordigt de sestiere volledig een van de uitgaansgelegenheden in Venetië.
De wijk San Polo is de kleinste van de zes in Venetië en is zeer geliefd vanwege de ontspannen sfeer die je door de smalle straatjes kunt voelen; ooit was het echter één met de Sestiere di Santa Croce.Het is een zeer karakteristieke wijk gezien de rijke aanwezigheid van "huizen en winkels", of plaatsen waar mensen wonen en werken, evenals de verscheidenheid aan typisch Venetiaanse tavernes die de naam "bacari" dragen. De naam is afgeleid van de aanwezigheid van Campo San Polo, het grootste plein na dat van San Marco, en van de gelijknamige kerk in de wijk. Hoewel het altijd werd beschouwd als een volksplein, omdat hier evenementen en openbare vieringen plaatsvonden, wordt dit plein omringd door statige paleizen.
Het is een van de meest fascinerende pleinen ter wereld, zozeer zelfs dat Napoleon Bonaparte het "de mooiste zaal van Europa" noemde. Het werd gebouwd in de 9e eeuw en geplaveid in 1177, 100 jaar na de bouw. Piazza San Marco is het laagste gebied van Venetië en is daarom het eerste gebied dat onder water komt te staan. De belangrijkste gebouwen op het plein zijn de Basiliek van San Marco, het Dogenpaleis, het Correr Museum, de Campanile en de Clock Tower.
We nemen de vaporetto terug naar het station
De Rialtobrug is de oudste van de vier bruggen over het Canal Grande. Het is beroemd om zowel zijn architectuur als zijn geschiedenis. Jarenlang was het het centrum van de economie van Venetië. De Rialtobrug werd gebouwd tussen 1588 en 1591, op basis van een project van de architect Antonio da Ponte, ter vervanging van de vorige houten constructie, die twee keer instortte en verschillende keren in brand stond. De structuur van de brug is vergelijkbaar met de vorige en bestaat uit twee hellende hellingen die in het midden zijn verbonden door een portiek.

Transfer per minibus van je hotel in Abano Montegrotto Terme naar het treinstation Terme Euganee + Transfer per trein naar Venetië. De tijden in de reservering zijn bij benadering en kunnen onderhevig zijn aan kleine variaties. Het agentschap neemt een paar dagen voor de tour contact met je op om de ontmoetings- of ophaaltijd te bevestigen. Een geldig contact (telefoonnummer met Whatsapp of e-mail) is vereist.

Nicole was incredible. He helped us with the crazy Italian trains, picked the perfect restaurant for lunch and took us on a less crowded tour route and took care of arrangements for basilica and gondolas. The tour ran long because of water bus and train delays, but Nicola made sure we got our taxis back to the hotel. He is one of the best guides.

Venice tour for a day with family, children and grandchildren. We took the train from Montegrotto Terme to Venice, arriving at Santa Lucia station. From there we started our walk with Chiara, an exceptional guide who illustrated calluses and wrinkles, fields and canals, accompanying us to St. Mark's Square: unique in the world, truly spectacular. We had lunch in an excellent trattoria of Venetian gondoliers and bought beautiful Venetian handmade masks. What about: a day to repeat absolutely. A big thank you to the talented Chiara for making this experience unforgettable.

We had the most amazing tour of Venice with Nicola . He is knowledgeable , fun and very friendly. He showed us hidden sides of Venice without crowds of tourist and hidden passages with incredible views. A leisurely walk with a knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. She went at our pace instead of sprinting, like some guides. She arranged train tickets for us and met us at the station to make it more convenient. She booked a nice restaurant ahead of time to ensure we would not have any trouble. Beautiful tour accompanied by Chiara (very nice and talented) despite the large turnout of people on Fat Thursday the tour included a beautiful walk from the train station to St. Mark's Square along the most hidden and quiet streets of Venice with a stop and demonstration of jewelry creation with Murano glass and great lunch at local and then finish in St. Mark's Square and return by vaporetto.Bellissima trip, to recommend!

Great outing. The Guide took us to see some wonderful paintings by Tintoretto in the Church of the Garden and to follow, for “coves” and bridges not crowded by the many people who are in Venice in this period, we passed through the Ghetto, we had a great coffee in Cannareggio and we visited the workshop of a glassmaker who in front of our eyes, in about ten minutes, made a heart-shaped pendant with flowers in relief on the outside. We saw beautiful views, gondolas, the bridge of sighs and finally the beautiful Piazza San Marco. The masterful stroke was then the return by vaporetto along the Grand Canal. We have seen historical buildings like Ca Foscari, Ca d’oro, Ca Rezzonico and even the Rialto Bridge flow under our eyes with their unmistakable and wonderful styles and shapes. Overall the trip really deserves an EXCELLENT from all points of view both for the Guide (experienced and prepared) and as an organization.
