Ontdek in het hart van Veneto de olijf- en wijnkwaliteiten van de Euganische heuvels. Sinds enige tijd worden op ons grondgebied wijnstokken en olijfbomen verbouwd, van deze producten worden ware lekkernijen gemaakt: de wijn en olie van de Euganische heuvels. Olijfolie is zeker een bron van trots op dit gebied: we zullen een oliemolen bezoeken, waar de producenten ons de kunst van het produceren van olijfolie zullen laten zien en ons zullen begeleiden tijdens het proeven van het eindproduct. We hebben dan voor u gekozen, een van de beste wijnhuizen in dit gebied, waar u na een bezoek aan de kelder de typische wijnen van de Euganische heuvels zult proeven.

De Euganische baden van Abano Montegrotto zijn een van de beroemdste kuuroorden ter wereld. Onze tour zal vanaf hier beginnen.
De Euganeïsche heuvels zijn een groep heuvels van vulkanische oorsprong die 300 tot 600 m hoog zijn vanaf de Paduaans-Venetiaanse vlakte, een paar kilometer ten zuiden van Venetië. Hier vindt u prachtige landschappen tussen wijn- en olijfgaarden, afgewisseld door kastelen, villa's en kleine middeleeuwse dorpjes.
Nadat we de wijngaard en de kelder hebben bezocht, kunnen we bij dit wijnhuis op een panoramische positie enkele typische wijnen proeven.
We bezoeken een familiebedrijf waar extra vierge olijfolie wordt geproduceerd en nemen vervolgens deel aan een proeverij van hun producten.

Je vindt je lokale begeleider (met het blauwe minibusje met Lovivo-logo) voor je hotel in Abano Montegrotto of op het voorplein van het station Terme Euganee in Montegrotto Terme. De tijden in de reservering zijn bij benadering en kunnen onderhevig zijn aan kleine variaties. Het agentschap neemt een paar dagen voor de tour contact met je op om de ontmoetings- of ophaaltijd te bevestigen. Een geldig contact (telefoonnummer met Whatsapp of e-mail) is vereist.

We had an excellent time on the Olive Oil & Wine in the Euganean Hills tour! They offer easy pickup from local train stations so it's easy to get to an otherwise inaccessible place without a car. Both locations we visited were wonderful and had excellent oil and wine respectively. The morning time was great and only lasts a few hours, so it's not an overwhelming all-day tour which was nice for us. Our guide Nico was excellent as well :) I definitely recommend!

It was beautiful and gorgeous. The visit to the production of olive oil and wine was very interesting and instructive. We recommend it to everyone. Nicola explained many things about the area and was a fantastic guide. We were escorted to the hotel and then brought back, which was very convenient.

Chiara was an excellent guide. The tour was filled with good information and beautiful scenery. We loved the olive oil factory and the winery on top of the hill to see the great views. The snack at the end of the winery tour was delightful.

It’s very interesting how the oil is extracted from the olive a well explained process. Also with the wine tour it was very special the young wine maker was very passionate about her trade and the new wines that she had created for the family cellar.

The wine tasting with Andrea at quota 101 was fantastico and the wines were very good and all with complexity of flavor . Our guide Chiara was excellant, very personable and friendly. She provided a lovely chilled pace throughout the tour. At both stops, olive oil and wine, the owners were kind and welcoming. The couple at the winery were great hosts and provided a lovely lunch. And we were pleasantly surprised that there were at least 6 different wines to taste. A must do tour!
