Good but not great. Lots of rough edges for what should have been a smooth experience. Trolley company was not aware that the park’s cafe was closed for a private event, which foiled a plan to have lunch in the midst of the flowers. Then there was the delay for pickup, though if you know of their bus tracker you can watch for when another trolley is in the area for pickup. Depending on the trolley, some guides were easier to understand than others. The difficulty understanding guides, delays for pickup, and the often full or nearly full trolleys caused you to think twice about getting off to explore the park more extensively, especially with time at a premium.
This was a great way to get our bearings in Vancouver, including stops to get off and explore Stanley Park and Granville Island. Trolley seats not the most comfortable, but live app is great to know when to catch next trolley.
Trolley tour was great overall. Did have issue with trolley not stopping for us at stop downtown. I had to catch up with trolley at red light and knock on door. Not easy to do for me as I am 75, and still recovering from back and hip surgery. Trolley guide (Kenny) thought it was funny. My wife and I did not
Great fun way to get around. Easy to find the stops. Better value if they ran longer- at least to 6.
Great way to see Vancouver. It was a rainy morning and this made everything easier. I enjoyed the live narration and efficient way to see a lot to make choices about where to hop off and explore more.
Absolutely beautiful and not to be missed!
Don't book if you're visiting during the Alaska cruise season (summer months). They way oversell tickets for the amount of trolleys they have running. The first 2 trolleys that came by were too full to pick anyone else up (and they only come every 1/2 hour). We had to take an Uber to a different stop to try to get on. So we wasted a good portion of our day just trying to get on.
Beautiful city Clean airconditioned bus Lots of fun!
Braydon and Brad were super. We made the round trip with them. Entertaining and informative. We also Lynn for a driver and she was great as well. Only complaint is that they should run routes longer than they do. As it stays light it would be nice if they ran until 6 or 7 at least.
The tour itself was ok. It could use more info about history of city or some insight into culture or current events. The trolley bus was old and in need of refreshing. The seat cushions had no cushion left in them. The drivers seat broke and it took 3 employees about 15 minutes to fix. With an early afternoon start there was no opportunity to hop off unless you wanted to find an alternative way back. At some stops the bus was full so clients had to wait an additional 1/2 hr for next bus. I certainly didn’t want to get off only to think I might be at a stop longer than planned due to crowd. Maybe consider adding another trolley bus to fleet? Because of traffic and crew change for lunch our tour lasted almost 2.5 hrs. Too long. I found the customer line not helpful. I called to see how to book with a pick up at my hotel, which is a stop in the material on line. The agent told me there was no stop and I needed to go to the 390 Robson St, which was a long 10 city blocks away. There is no 390 Robson. Turns out the stop is on the other side of street in front of library. Also, it turns out there was a stop at my hotel on the “Big Bus” so not sure why he booked me on “Trolley Bus”. The Big Bus also ran 2 hours longer.
