Wandel door Gastown, de plaats waar Vancouver begon, en stop bij de lokale plekken die generaties lang de voedselscene hebben gevormd. Je Gids kent elke keuken, en ze zullen de verhalen achter beide delen terwijl je je een weg eet door een van Canada's meest legendarische buurten. Onderweg proeft u gerechten die het echte Vancouver weerspiegelen: langzaam geroosterd varkensvlees op bestelling gesneden op ciabatta, een handgemaakte dessertbar die begon op een boerenmarkt en uitgroeide tot een BC-instelling, klassieke Schotse eieren geserveerd in een pub uit 1910, en meer. Ochtendgasten genieten van exclusieve stops, waaronder Vancouver's meest geliefde handgemaakte donut, dagelijks vers gebakken sinds 1979. In de middag voegen de gasten een kiptaco en ambachtelijke chocolade toe. Elke tour is inclusief onze Secret Dish, alleen onthuld op de dag. Our guide Chiago was fantastic, he was warm and welcoming. The food was delicious and he had great rapport with the restaurants. We really enjoyed our food tour and we are stuffed .

Best food tour we have ever been on (and we have done many). Matheiu, our guide was fantastic!. He was personable, knowledgeable , and made the tour extra special. The places we visited and the food we tasted were exceptional and we credit Mathieu for making those choices. Highly recommend it. It was the highlight of our Vancouver trip.

We learned a lot about Vancouver History and the many cultures that make it up as evidenced by the variety of food on the tour. From pork sandwiches to scotch eggs and sushi. Everything was delicious and our guide was a lot of fun and full of recommendations!!

Ilyas was timely, knowledgeable and professional. We enjoyed each of the stops. It seemed unusual to start with a salted caramel bar at Pure Bread, but it was so amazing, I didn’t mind. Meat & Bread offered such a delicious porchetta sandwich that we went back the next day and tried the meatball sandwich and kale salad. The scotch egg at the Pour House was the best I’ve ever had. My favorite bite was The Local’s pave potatoes. They were crispy, creamy and so savory. The aburi sushi at Mika was fresh and bright. I really enjoyed the pop of lemon zest. The chocolate at Mink was good, but a bit of a fizzle compared to the salted caramel bar at Pure Bread. It was the perfect way to spend a few hours touring Vancouver, learning its history and having tasty bites with a friendly guide.
