Onderweg proeft u gerechten die het echte Vancouver weerspiegelen: langzaam geroosterd varkensvlees op bestelling gesneden op ciabatta, een handgemaakte dessertbar die begon op een boerenmarkt en uitgroeide tot een BC-instelling, klassieke Schotse eieren geserveerd in een pub uit 1910, en meer. Ochtendgasten genieten van exclusieve stops, waaronder Vancouver's meest geliefde handgemaakte donut, dagelijks vers gebakken sinds 1979. The Secret Food Tour was a great time. W enjoyed learning about Vancouver history and of course the food. We have been on about 10 food tours around the world and have enjoyed each one. What we really like is they stop at small specialty shops that if you were on your own you would walk past. My recommendation is if you are visitung the city for a few days, go on the food tour near the beginning of your stay. You will want to revisit some of these restaurants. Mathieu was our guide and he made the trip very interesting. He has a good sense of humor and a very strong knowledge of Vancouver. He also provides recommendations of other quality restaurants for dinner. Sign up and you won't be disappointed.

Great tour! Vancouver is an international city and the tour did a very good job covering a gamut of cuisines. The porchetta with the salsa Verde was fantastic. Also Ilya led the your very well. Good blend of food in into and some culture and history blended in while giving the guests plenty of time to interact with each other. Delicious and very relaxing way to spend an afternoon.

Just a great walking food experience, filled with a ton of history and of course great food. Come prepared to eat a lot Our guide Matthew was the best and his wide knowledge of Canada was impressive. He had a great personality and involved everyone in the group.

The food portions were generally very small, even though I appreciate that it was a tasting tour, I've been on others in different countries that were more substantial plus I'm not a big eater. First stop was fried chicken which was very nice, next was a tiny goats cheese salad, then a few soggy chips with gravy, then a tiny bowl of pasta which did taste really good. The white wine was warm and the tiniest glass in the first 2 places, literally 3 sips and it was gone, slightly better in the next. Then we had icecream, we didn't even enter the shop, just stood outside in the street to eat it. Last was a waffle and cream which was good. Every stop felt a bit rushed and we finished the tour 20 minutes early. Our guide was friendly enough but I felt that she wanted to get it over and done with as quick as possible. Definitely not worth the £380 that we paid for a family of 4.
