Rijd vervolgens met de Grouse Mountain Skyride gondel naar 1.250 meter boven Vancouver. Op de top : kijk naar de wereldberoemde houthakkersshow, Bezoek resident grizzlyberen Grinder en Coola, en zie de vogels in Bewegingsdemonstratie - allemaal met een panoramisch uitzicht op de stad, de oceaan en de bergen. Begin de dag met het ophalen van het hotel in een comfortabele minibus / SUV. De groep zal door Stanley Park rijden, een openbaar park van 405 hectare dat grenst aan het centrum van Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada en bijna volledig wordt omringd door de wateren van Vancouver Harbor en English Bay. Het park heeft een lange geschiedenis en was een van de eerste gebieden die in de stad werden verkend.
De groep zal rijden over een prominente mijlpaal in Vancouver, de Lion's Gate Bridge, een brug van 1.890 voet (1.823 meter) die een ongeëvenaard uitzicht biedt op Vancouver Harbour, English Bay en verder.
Met een hoogte van 1.250 meter (4.100 voet) boven Vancouver en op slechts 15 minuten van de binnenstad van de stad, bevindt zich de uitgestrekte alpine speeltuin van Grouse Mountain. Ga vervolgens naar een wereldberoemde voetbrug, de hangbrug van Capilano, om te wandelen tussen de torenhoge bomen van het omringende gematigde regenwoud en om de tradities van de inheemse bevolking van Coast Salish te leren. Vervolgens wordt de groep over de beruchte brug van 136 meter naar de andere kant van de rivier geleid. Klim op het bladerdak en loop door de loopbrug Treetop Adventure hoog boven de kloof en de rivier beneden. Voor degenen die op zoek zijn naar een meer spannende ervaring, probeer dan de 'Cliffwalk', de nieuwste attractie op de hangbrug Capilano. Do it yourself, this experience costs a lot and all the “guide” did was drive and spout off endless jargon which had nothing to do with the trip. He basically did nothing related to the main purpose of the trip. Also we were the only ones that had to take 15 minute taxi ride to the pick up place. Because he didn’t have our correct hotel and he never apologized. I tried to contact him with the given contact information to give him our correct hotel but he never responded . Would definitely not recommend this experience.
Kevin was amazing, and gave us a great tour and details of Vancouver. My boys had a blast at the rope bridge and enjoyed the otter balls. It’s amazing how someone built that whole setup in the trees. We went on a rainy day, so was tough to see much off Grouse mountain. But, the bears were right next to the fence and restaurant had a great view of valley and lake below. Would definitely recommend as an intro to city and highlight that you don’t get to see most places.

The locations and our tour guide (Alex) were great. It is a pretty expensive and both locations visited may offer free shuttles that travellers should look into before booking this. Both sites are pretty close to the city and you really are just being dropped off at each one and then you are on your own. I would have appreciated a bit more time at Grouse Mtn and a bit more orientation of what you could do there. Alex did some great narration on the way and provided some interesting tidbits.

Excellent half day tour. But not if you are afraid of heights. We were collected from our hotel then returned after the trip.

Eric, our tour guide, picked us up in front of our Airbnb. We first went to the Capilano suspension Bridge. We got there earlier than the big tour buses so the crowds were less. We had plenty of time to explore and then we headed to Grouse Mountain. The day was beautiful, and the views were spectacular. We also loved that we were able to skip the lines for admission. We really enjoyed the small group experience and would highly recommend!

Unfortunately it was raining pretty hard the entire time but Stan made it worthwhile! He was amazing and went over and above to make sure we had a great time. One of our friends left something on the bus when our tour was over and he drove over an hour to find us to return it.
