Ga naar Gorkhi Terelj National Park, gelegen 65 kilometer ten noordoosten van Ulaanbaatar. Bewonder de hoge granieten stenen bergen met bosbedekte noordelijke hellingen, veelheid aan wilde bloemenweiden en spectaculaire rotsformaties. Zie de 24 meter hoge Turtle-vormige rots. I loved this day out, our guide MJ picked us up nice and early so we were the first to arrive at the statue which was amazing. MJ took photos of us and talked us through some interesting history in the museum. We drove to the National park which was stunning and MJ pointed out different areas of beauty for us to explore. The temple was also breathtaking and MJ ordered us some delicious local food at a ger restaurant which was honestly so delicious. We just had a great day and he got us back to Ulanbaatar in great time so we had the rest of the day to ourselves. I would highly recommend the tour day and MJ as the guide

Brilliant. An essential trip to take while in UB and the guide, Janet, is funny, sweet and generous. I couldn’t recommend it enough. I’m gonna come back and take one of their horse riding/ camping tours. Get it booked!
Jana was an excellent guide on our family day trip (and transport to and from the airport). Her English is excellent and we were able to stop at sites along the way which made the day very enjoyable. Highly recommended.
The guide of my Chingghis monument tour is a standup guy who would give you the shirt off his back! I went on the tour hoping to get a great photo opportunity. I did that, but the guide also introduced me to the visitor center historian who explained everything I needed to know about the Great Khan. This is an A+ company.
A very satisfying day tour! I went in mid-december, it was very cold and I was almost the only tourist around, but MJ was a reliable and knowledgeable guide, took a lot of pictures/videos of me and chose a good restaurant in a ger for lunch. He was always ready to answer my questions but also let me take my time and explore a bit on my own (especially in the wonderful Aryabal Temple, truly beautiful in the snow). Would definitely recommend!
A very enjoyable and comfortable tour with the opportunity to learn about local culture, as well as to get outside of the main city and see the countryside. MJ was a great tour guide! He spoke very good english and had a great sense of humour.
We were in Mongolia off season in Winter and booked this tour very close to the date. We were delighted with the day - the guide, Jana, was patient, flexible and fun, and the winter scenery under a perfect blue sky was absolutely stunning. This same tour, offered through Nomadic Hospitality Mongolia, was canceled 2 days before, with no explanation. A Mongolian friend called the agency for me. The excuse? No English guide available. I clicked on this other tour, with MJ as a guide. He called the night before to confirm, picked me up at my hotel right on time, and I had a wonderful day..
