Vertrek vanuit Vilnius. Door een comfortabele auto met airconditioning naar de voormalige hoofdstad van het Groothertogdom Litouwen in het mooie stadje Trakai aan het meer. Kom meer te weten over de kleinste etnische groep van Litouwen - Karaieten die zich in Trakai hebben gevestigd, samen met de Tartaren, Russen, Joden en Polen die volgden. Geniet van een panoramisch uitzicht op het meer Galvė - de diepste van de 200 meren van de regio. Ga verder naar het geweldige eilandkasteel dat in de 14e eeuw werd gebouwd voordat het in verval raakte in de 17e eeuw. Herbouwd na de Tweede Wereldoorlog wordt Insular Castle nu beschouwd als een belangrijk herkenningspunt van Litouwen. Bezoek een historisch kasteelmuseum. Na veel nieuwe dingen geleerd is het een tijd voor een pauze. Een bezoek aan een traditioneel Karaim-keukenrestaurant. Na een lunch keert u terug naar Vilnius.

Me and my partner choose Different Lithuania to visit Grodno in Belarus ,Trakai and Vilnius ,both tours were amazing so much to see ,our tour guide was outstanding very knowledgeable his english was spotless ,he made us feel comfortable and safe , unforgettable memories of Lithuania and Grodno!!!

This is just the ride over to the castle. The ticket for the castle (12 euros each) was not included. The line to buy the tickets was very long but luckily our guide knew how to purchase them online. Our guide went with us in the castle for a bit and then gave us free time to explore on our own.

My husband I had a private tour in Vilius and Trakai, and then a full day drive from Villius to Riga with our guide Martynas from Baltic Concierge Agency. He was very responsive ever since I initiated the communications, and proposed our preferred itineraries eleven months before our trip. He followed-up and followed-through thoroughly. All tours were well paced. Martynas was friendly and flexible to adapt to our requests; gracious with sharing his knowledge of history, culture, and delicious local food. We felt safe with his driving through snow. What really amazed me is that he came into the hotel with us when we arrived in Riga. because he wanted to ensure our check in went smoothly. We also had exceptional touring service with the guide Peteris who gave us a tour of Riga, and then drove us from Riga to Tallinn. Baltic Concierge Agency is highly recommended especially in customizing tours to meet expectations.

We had a fantastic tour with Martynas to Trakai Castle. He picked us up at our hotel in Old Town Vilnius and drove us to the Castle, showing us sights in Vilnius along the way. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history and we had a great time, despite the cold! I highly recommend this tour.
