Begin je bezoek aan het voormalige klooster van Sant'Agostino, waar nu het interactieve Brunello Tempelmuseum is gevestigd. You should be preparing to walk on steep slopes. It takes place in a family atmosphere among tourists, generating new friendships.
Excellent lunch, but Montalcino deserves a whole day
What could have been spectacular didn't meet the mark. We were greeted at the meeting place by our guide Corinna. A very sweet and understanding guide. Soon after we boarded the bus, we were informed of several things amongst one in particular, that instead of being a 7 to 8 hours excursion which was what we booked, it was going to be for 12 hours instead! That rocked all of our plans that day. We had reservations that night after the tour to celebrate our last day in Rome, not! After mentioning it to our guide and showing her the printout stating the '7 to 8 hours' tour, she apologized and tried to make all kinds of suggestions, but for our plans they were completely shot! I don't blame her, but I do blame the tour company for putting us in a critical position and ruining our plans. I still don't understand how that happened. Anyhow, the sights we did go see were absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. The place we ate at was picturesque indeed, but I can't say that the food was anything to write home about. Good, but nothing out of the ordinary. Oh, did I mention that instead of arriving back at 7:30, we still didn't get back until after 8:00 pm., and we still had to take a taxi back to the hotel and eat something somewhere before our early departure the next morning. Not what we had planned for on our last day!

We are nevertheless glad to hear that you found the destinations beautiful and breathtaking, and that you appreciated the care and support provided by your guide throughout the day. Your feedback regarding the tour description and timing is very important to us, and we will review it carefully to ensure that expectations are communicated as clearly as possible for future guests. Our guide was a very nice person but obviously did not have experience in managing a group of people, I.e., clearly stating meeting time and place, giving a heads up to guests on what to expect or next steps. We always had to ask. Also no info about area we were in.

This tour was fantastic. Enjoyed plenty of free time at both but definitely preferred Montepulciano. Giovanni out tour guide was really fun and knowledgeable. Lunch was lovely too. Would highly recommend recommend this tour.

We were very much looking forward to the Moradi Tuscany wine tour. This was going to be the final and exclamation point on our wonderful Italian trip. We got up early to meet for the tour where we found out Moradi tours cancelled the trip. We were very disappointed.
