Neem deel aan onze tour en geniet van een boeiende reis door tijd en cultuur terwijl je de verborgen pareltjes van centraal Japan verkent. Kokeizan Eihoji-tempel, gelegen op het serene platteland. Verken het vredige terrein, versierd met weelderige tuinen en oude bouwwerken, en bied een serene start van uw culturele ontdekkingstocht. Enakyo Observatorium voor een panoramisch uitzicht op de Ena-kloof. Leg adembenemende vergezichten vast op de kronkelende rivier en de omliggende bergen, een perfect moment om verbinding te maken met de schoonheid van de natuur. Ga terug in de tijd in Magome-juku, een prachtig bewaard gebleven poststadje langs de historische Nakasendo Trail. Wandel door geplaveide straatjes met traditionele houten gebouwen, geniet van lokale delicatessen en snuffel rond in leuke winkeltjes met handgemaakte ambachten. Tsumago-juku, een ander charmant poststadje dat bevroren is in de tijd. Verken de goed bewaarde straten en dompel jezelf onder in de sfeer van de Japanse Edo-periode. Magome is een voormalige poststad in de Kiso-vallei, die diende voor reizigers van de Nakasendo, een belangrijke route die Tokio tijdens het feodale tijdperk met Kyoto verbond.
Tsumago, gelegen in Nagiso, in de prefectuur Nagano, is een poststad aan de Nakasendo, een van de twee oude routes die Kyoto met Edo verbond. Op verzoek van de inwoners van Tsumago werd verklaard dat de stad in zijn oorspronkelijke vorm behouden moest blijven en in 1976 werd het aangewezen als een district voor het behoud van belangrijke traditionele structuren. Net als in de Edo-periode staat het omzoomd met traditionele huizen met hun oude traliewerk ramen.
Eihō-ji is een Rinzai Zen-boeddhistische tempel in het noordelijke deel van de stad Tajimi, Gifu Prefecture, Japan. Opgericht in de Kamakura-periode, zijn twee van de structuren van de tempel aangewezen als National Treasures of Japan en zijn tuinen zijn een nationaal aangewezen plaats van schilderachtige schoonheid.
Magomekan is een handige souvenirwinkel in Magome-juku. Hier kunt u genieten van lichte maaltijden, zoals gohei-mochi, rijstkoekjes met spiesjes bedekt met een zoete miso en walnootsaus.
De vijver in Magome-juku biedt een prachtig uitzicht op de berg Ena.
Het Magome Waki-honjin History Museum is een faciliteit die een deel van het voormalige Waki-honjin reconstrueert en dient als museum. Het toont huishoudelijke artikelen en meubels uit die tijd, met de cultuur van de Kisoji-regio.
De Eihoji Tempeltuin is een serene en plechtige tuin. Hoewel er enkele steile hellingen zijn die voorzichtigheid vereisen, is het landschap prachtig.
Een kunstmatig meer gecreëerd door de Oi Dam. Sightseeingboten opereren op het meer, en langs beide oevers staan uniek gevormde rotsen. Er is ook een park aan de oever van het meer.
Het landschap is prachtig, en u kunt genieten van verschillende uitzichten, afhankelijk van waar je kijkt. Er zijn ook goed ontwikkelde wandelpaden om te verkennen.
In de Edoperiode werd deze site gebruikt als onderkomen voor feodale heren en functionarissen van het shogunaat. Tegenwoordig is het open voor het publiek als een museum, getrouw gereconstrueerd om de oorspronkelijke gebouwen van die tijd te weerspiegelen.

- Gelieve bij aankomst uw naam te bevestigen bij de Gids of medewerkers op de deelnemerslijst.
- Baby's jonger dan 3 jaar zijn gratis zonder zitplaats. Indien een zitplaats nodig is, gelieve te boeken onder de kinderprijs.
- Zorg dat je uiterlijk 10 min voor vertrek bij het verzamelpunt bent. De bus wacht niet op laatkomers.
- Gelieve geen tijdgevoelige activiteiten te boeken, zoals restaurantreserveringen, vertrek van cruiseschepen of andere geplande verplichtingen onmiddellijk na uw tour.
- Engels en Chinees commentaar kunnen in dezelfde bus worden gegeven in geval van een laag aantal deelnemers.
- De tour kan worden geannuleerd als de minimale groepsgrootte van 10 personen niet wordt bereikt. Klanten worden in dergelijke gevallen ongeveer 3 tot 4 dagen voor de vertrekdatum op de hoogte gesteld.
- In geval van druk verkeer veroorzaakt door vakanties of slechte weersomstandigheden, kan er een vermindering van geplande attracties zijn zonder restitutie.
- Het tourschema kan zonder voorafgaande kennisgeving worden gewijzigd als gevolg van weersomstandigheden, wegverkeersomstandigheden en andere onvoorziene redenen. (Er kunnen vertragingen optreden bij het terugbrengen naar de aangewezen locatie.) De duur van de transfers is bij benadering, de exacte duur is afhankelijk van het tijdstip van de dag en de verkeersomstandigheden.
- Wat bagage betreft, laten we één stuk bagage per persoon toe tijdens de excursie. Zorg er ook voor dat de bagage handelbaar is en comfortabel in ons voertuig past. (De maximale grootte voor bagage die in de kofferbak wordt opgeslagen, mag niet groter zijn dan in totaal 155 cm - gecombineerde hoogte, breedte en diepte.) Houd er ook rekening mee dat alle items die in de kofferbak worden opgeslagen, niet toegankelijk zijn tussen de stops op de tour, dus houd alle waardevolle spullen bij u.
- Ons contactnummer kan buiten kantooruren (ma – vr, 9.00 – 18.00 uur JST) niet bereikbaar zijn.

Yukino was the guide who accompanied us, very kind. The meeting point was a bit confusing but Yukino was in contact with us via WhatsApp to guide us and find the meeting point to start the tour.

Good tour guide Bara San, very well organized. Magome-ku is nice place to visit, can skip Tsumago, nothing special.

The tour company didn't go above and beyond but it was still worth it. The driver was pretty rough and swerved around a lot, the tour guide gave very basic explanations in the bus but did put in good effort at the stops to translate for us and show us good spots, which makes up for the rest. The locations were very nice and worthwhile. Overall I am pleased 4/5

I visited Magomej-uku and Tsumago-juku, two stations on the old Nakasendo road that led from Edo (Tokyo) to Nagoya and Kyoto. The two villages have been well preserved and you can't even see the electricity poles. If you love things from the past it is worth spending a day in this region. The route of the ancient road can also be done by bus or private car, since the paved road runs parallel to the old road, my bus driver, taken from Magome towards Tsumago, advised me to make the last stretch on foot to taste the old route without making the step between the two villages and not face the many ups and downs that still exist. There was some snow.

The tour takes you on a great itinerary of places of interest outside of Nagoya. However, I was in a group of 9 and was the only non-Mandarin speaker. I was happy to give the tour guide the benefit of the doubt and participate fully. While the tour guide did the tour in both languages, he gave more details in Mandarin. I only realized this when I used Google Translate and read the translation of what he was saying to the Chinese tourists. I am unsure of the guide’s English proficiency because when I asked questions outside of the script, he struggled to answer them in English. This was disappointing for a 9-hour tour.

Excellent day trip. Well organized. Attentive tour guide. Information about the destinations provided via WhatsApp. (Also paper maps). Good value for money (lunch not included). Eihoji is amazing and very well well kept. Many tourists there when we visited. 1 hour was a good duration to stay there. 10 minutes walk from the bus parking lot to get to the site. Steep in places. Enakyo was a stop for a few pictures of the lake and mountains. And ice cream. Magomejuku is a post town on the ancient Nakasendo road from Tokyo to Kyoto. It is an attractive street, shops, hostelries, etc.. Quite steep and big cobbled stones. Easy to trip. I witnessed several people falling. The stop was 2 hours, which as I did not eat lunch, was too long for me. Most of the people on the bus went to a restaurant recommended by the tour guide, and accompanied by the tour guide. Tsumagojuk is another street on the Nakasendo road. Not steep, and easy to walk. The 1 hour stop was enough time. 5 minutes wall from the bus parking.

Great tour around different points of interest nearby Nagoya. Liu provided a lot of great information on the history of each of the sites we visited as well as recommendations for other things to do in Nagoya. Great experience!
