Beleef een nacht gewijd aan muziek, dans en lekker lokaal eten tijdens deze Kretenzische folklore-avond in Karouzana, een traditioneel dorp in de buurt van Heraklion. Nip aan wijn en proef lokale producten zoals kaas, olijfolie en vlees tijdens een buffetmaaltijd. Bereik het oude dorp na het ophalen, loop door deze prachtige plek en ervaar de gastvrijheid van de lokale bevolking. Geniet in de schemering van een traditioneel feest. Proef heerlijke gerechten met kaas, vergine olijfolie, vlees en andere producten van Kretenzische bodem. Laat je verwennen met de wijn, luister naar het geluid van de Kretenzische Lyra (Grieks muziekinstrument) en geniet van het kijken naar de dansers, gekleed in hun traditionele kostuums die Kretenzische en Griekse volksdansen uitvoeren. Veel plezier terwijl je je toch veilig voelt: eten en drinken zal individueel en steriel zijn zoals wettelijk vereist en obers zullen maskers en handschoenen dragen. De stoelen en de tafels zullen ook de juiste tussenruimte hebben in overeenstemming met de wettelijke vereisten.<

Als je je echt een echte Kretenzer wilt voelen, ga dan met ons mee naar het traditionele dorp Karouzana, een avond gewijd aan muziek, dans en lekker lokaal eten. Bij het bereiken van het oude dorp hebben we de kans om onze wandeling door deze prachtige plek te maken en verrast te worden door de gastvrijheid van de lokale bevolking. In de schemering gaan we genieten van het traditionele feestmaal, de heerlijke gerechten proeven met de kaas, de olijfolie van eerste persing, het vlees en alle andere producten van de Kretenzische bodem. Laat je verwennen met de wijn, luister naar het geluid van de Kretenzische "Lyra" en geniet van het kijken naar de dansers, gekleed in hun traditionele kostuums die Kretenzische en Griekse volksdansen uitvoeren. Aan het eind van de avond kunnen we ook meedoen met de dansers, die ons de basispassen leren, zodat ook wij kunnen dansen als moderne Zorba's! A long drive, average show, too many people, no conviviality, a mediocre buffet, depending on when you get more food,. I wouldn't recommend it, I wouldn't do it again.
une soirée folklore traditionnelle ne peut pas être dans une ville qui se trouve dans le village de karouzana à 45 minutes d'héraklion, cela dépend de l'endroit où vous séjournez, il y a beaucoup de nourriture au buffet. si vous n'aimez rien à manger, nous ne pouvons rien faire pour cela, car c'est la cuisine crétoise la plus traditionnelle.
I would spend double the money or even triple to not have a 6 hour round trip bus ride, better food and more professional entertainment. It is not the performers fault as they seem young and inexperienced. I think the proper expectations should be set for a more rookie type show with basic foods. They also ran out very quickly and had some frustrated patrons. It’s not worth the time invested though the hosts were excellent.

The evening was very enjoyable. Loved hearing the music and seeing the dances from different areas of Greece. Food and wine were delicious and plentiful. Downside to the event was how long it took to get there. My ride was a total of 2.5 hours. I was solo. So with others I'm assuming it would not have felt so long.

Overall not the best experience. On the positive side the journey up into the mountains to reach our destination was quite spectacular in the evening sun. Food was varied and of good quality. The entertainment was done with skill, enthusiasm and passion and well worth the ticket price. On the negative side the journey time from pickup to destination was nearly 90 minutes and very convoluted. With very narrow lanes and roads you had to admire the drivers handling of his coach. When we arrived at the venue it was at best organised chaos with jam packed tables squeezed into every available space. Our tour guide could have been more helpful at this point rather than just waving at tables to indicate where we could sit. Would I do this trip again? Possibly but I would review other options from other tour operators first.

Great experience. What made us particularly happy was that we were able to swap buses for part of the trip to be in one with our friends. Also otherwise very well organized and punctual. Elafonissi beach was also very nice
