Deze tour geeft u de mogelijkheid om 3 karakteristieke steden van Puglia te bezoeken in een comfortabele minivan met airconditioning en een professionele chauffeur die u informatie geeft over de geschiedenis van de steden en de plaatsen om te bezoeken. Aan het einde van de tour kun je kiezen of je terug wilt naar Brindisi of naar Lecce.

Ostuni, een pittoresk stadje dat wacht om ontdekt te worden, staat bekend als de "Witte Stad" en beschikt over een prachtig middeleeuws dorp vol steegjes en witte huizen, die doen denken aan een oosters landschap het "land", gekenmerkt door smalle straatjes, steile trappen, binnenplaatsen en kleine pleintjes met witte huizen, ambachtelijke werkplaatsen en typische winkels.
Locorotondo, bijgenaamd "het balkon boven de Itria-vallei" vanwege het spectaculaire uitzicht op de vallei.
Een bezoek aan het prachtige Alberobello is als een reis naar een tijdloos land. Je hebt tijd tot je beschikking om het karakteristieke historische centrum te verkennen, dat in 1996 werd erkend als werelderfgoed. Het bestaat volledig uit Trulli, bijzondere witte piramidevormige gebouwen die het uniek maken in de wereld en een van de meest representatieve zijn. buitengewone voorbeelden van Italiaanse populaire architectuur. Bijzonder suggestief zijn: de wijk "Rione Monti", vol met kleine winkeltjes en ambachtswerkplaatsen, en de wijk "Aia Piccola", met zijn eeuwenoude trulli en kleine musea over de boerenbeschaving.
De prachtige stad die de geboorteplaats was van Domenico Modugno: Polignano a Mare, hangend op een klif met uitzicht op de zee. Je hebt de tijd tot je beschikking om het historische centrum en de overblijfselen van de Romeinse overheersing te bewonderen, inclusief de Via Traiana-brug, die vandaag de dag nog steeds begaanbaar is. Als u het historische centrum binnenkomt, via een doolhof van straatjes, steegjes en kleine pleintjes vol clubs, winkels en restaurants, komt u op drie terrassen met uitzicht op de zee om een adembenemend uitzicht te bewonderen.

I highly recommend this tour, and the tour company. Stefano was our driver and guide today, and he was excellent. Firstly we were picked up in a nice clean mini van and felt safe on the roads at all times with Stefano. He chatted to us and gave some excellent history of the region we were travelling to and great recommendations in each town for where to have a coffee break or lunch etc., along with directions for what to see while we were wandering through each town. This was a full 8 hour tour and it exceeded my expectations.
Stefano is an excellent tour guide who has a real passion for the region, its history and culture. He is also a pleasure to spend the day with because he gives us free time to walk around and enjoy the towns and he is very accommodating and answers all our questions. The minivan transport was excellent, with air conditioning. He taught us a lot about the different towns (Ostuni, Alberobello and Polignano) we visited, the culture and history. He gave us a clear orientation on arrival in each town, including excellent recommendations for strategic corners for a reat view as well as food and drink, which allowed us to relax and enjoy the experience. The Burrata was excellent and the special coffee. Every city is unique and offers a different experience. We had a great time and I would recommend visiting and enjoying the White City with the expert Stefano.
We did two tours with Stefano and they were both great ! Stefano is a great tour guide and has a real passion for the region, its history and culture. He’s also good fun to spend the day with and very accommodating for photo stops and answering lots of questions in very good English 😎 We learnt a lot from him about the different towns we visited, the Greek and Spanish influences on the region and the main sites to visit. He gave us clear orientation on arrival at each town including great recommendations for food & drinks which made it easy to relax and enjoy the experience. The tour visited Ostuni, Alberobello and Polignano a Mare and passed through a number of other towns along the way. Each town is unique and offers a different experience. Ostuni is a beautiful white city that stands out on a hill above the green valley below. It has a beautiful square and the cathedral and baroque arch are worth the climb ! You can also get lovely coffee and cakes as a reward for your efforts… The Trulli in Alberobello, hundreds of years old, are a really unique part of the heritage in this area and you will not see anywhere else ! A great place to wander around. My favourite place was Polignano with its houses perched on cliffs overlooking the sea in the old town. After wandering the narrow streets, you can watch the cliff divers, take in the beach below and enjoy the sea view from one of the balconies which are a real treat to find. Also a great place for a glass of wine or “special” coffee before heading home! During travel time you get to see the beautiful Itria valley and the thousands of ancient olive trees and vines. It really makes you appreciate the olive oil and wines of the region. A great day out !
