Bustransfer van Bratislava naar Boedapest
1,5 uur durende begeleide wandeltocht – van het parlement naar de Burcht van Boeda Uw reis begint bij het iconische Hongaarse parlement, een van de grootste en mooiste gebouwen van Europa. Terwijl u de neogotische grandeur bewondert vanaf het Kossuth Lajos-plein, zal uw gids de dramatische geschiedenis van de Hongaarse politiek, revoluties en nationale identiteit uitleggen. Wandel vervolgens naar de Shoes on the Danube Memorial, een ontroerend eerbetoon aan de slachtoffers van de Tweede Wereldoorlog, en ga vervolgens verder langs de Donaupromenade met een prachtig uitzicht op Boeda aan de overkant van de rivier. Je passeert de Kettingbrug, hoort verhalen over de bouw en vernietiging in oorlogstijd, en steekt deze vervolgens over naar de historische Buda-kant. De wandeling eindigt in de omgeving van de Burcht van Boeda, met verhalen over koningen, belegeringen en de dramatische wedergeboorte van dit UNESCO Werelderfgoed.

We were the only couple to book this trip from Bratislava so the tour operator without our knowledge switched us to another tour. First, we were informed by email at 11:40pm the night before that our 8am pickup would instead be 7am. If I hadn't woken up early and decided to check my email, I don't know what would have happened. So, it was rush to get ready on time. Then we were picked up and taken in the opposite direction to Vienna to pick up several people that had booked a Budapest and Bratislava tour from Vienna. We were switched to a different tour without our knowledge. Long story short we ended up riding in a van for over 7 hours to get 3 hours and 10 minutes in Budapest. No wine tasting. No response from the tour operator as to why they did this. Our guide was very good but how the Tour Company handled our booking was my worst experience with a tour company to date. If the tour company had informed me of this ahead of time, we would have been able to book a different tour as I had debated between a few options before selectin this one.
Amazing experience with a good guide Sebastian. Check the details of the tour before booking. We had chosen a day trip to Budapest from Bratislava and back, but it became a trip from Bratislava->Vienna->Bratislava tour->Budapest tour->Vienna->Bratislava. Although, Sebastian made this comfortable and smooth experience for us, this was considerable time traveling without reason.
This tour was disappointing, not because of the driver who was kind and helpful, but because of the absurd route we had to take. We were picked up in front of the hotel, and so far so good, but having to go to Vienna first to pick up other passengers, two of whom were not found, and then going back to head to Budapest is truly absurd. Basically, we have been awake since 6 with an appointment at 6:45 to drive for 6 hours before arriving at our destination. This absurd route was not specified in the program; otherwise, I would have organized differently with Flixbus and paid less. Absurdly, we arrived in Budapest practically sleepy and almost at lunchtime.
Had a really great experience with 7 other people. Thank you to Maria our guide and driver for helping to make it a great experience.
This is a rapid tour - three countries in one day, but gives you a wonderful introduction to both Budapest and Bratislava. Our guide, Samuel, was incredible. He was so patient and so knowledgeable, and looked after us all the way. He is a wonderful ambassador for Slovakia and I think he is a credit to the tour company!
That it was a day to enjoy. Maria our guide was great but there was also enough free time to explore Budapest on our own. Shout out to Maria.
If you want to see Budapest but don’t have very much time this is your tour! We spent a day and already want to book a trip back. We had Samuel as a guide and he was amazing! He made suggestions for attractions and local cuisine while allowing enough free time to take photos, eat lunch and wander around a little. I have already suggested this tour to my twin sister who is visiting soon!
My original date was canceled but luckily I had an extra day. I would have been very disappointed if I couldn’t see Budapest! Our guide, Michal, was fabulous! He knew all of the history and took us on a great tour! Traffic was bad so we had less time for free time, but it was enough to have lunch, see the basilica, walk across the bridge and back again! What a beautiful city!
Booked and paid for the trip that was advertised, they started the night before 9pm at night trying to majorly alter the trip we had paid for to suit other quests in Vienna. Told them we were not happy with this and just wanted trip that we had paid for. Last correspondence was after 10 the evening before saying they would pick us up at 7.30 now instead of 8. Nobody came to collect us and had no correspondence since. Dreadful company! Avoid at all costs!
