Wandel tussen monumentale duinen, rotsformaties die door eeuwenlange wind zijn gevormd en landschappen die doen denken aan het maanoppervlak. Wat deze tour echt bijzonder maakt, is de zonsondergang: vanaf unieke uitkijkpunten ziet u hoe het licht de woestijn transformeert in een kleurrijk palet van intense goudtinten, dieporanjes en zachtroze tinten. Dompel uzelf onder in een buitenaards landschap in het hart van de Atacamawoestijn. De Vallei van de Maan biedt met zijn torenhoge duinen, door de wind gevormde rotsformaties en maanachtige grond een unieke omgeving voor verkenning. - Ideaal voor natuurliefhebbers, fotografie van dorre landschappen en woestijnlandschappen. - Geschatte verblijfsduur: 4 uur Routebeschrijving: Tres Marías – Vreemde rotsformaties die lijken te zijn gebeeldhouwd door goddelijke handen. Major Dune – Een korte wandeling om te genieten van een panoramisch uitzicht vanaf een andere planeet. Ckari Lookout – Hier kunt u getuige zijn van een van de meest spectaculaire zonsondergangen ter wereld, met gouden, roze en oranje tinten die de lucht boven de woestijn kleuren. - Maximale hoogte: 2.460 meter boven zeeniveau

The visit to the 'moon' is a must see, the views are beautiful especially as the sun sets. The tour was a good pace and we had a little treat of treats and drinks which was fun. I was the only English speaker amongst a group of Spanish so I missed out on some information, but the tour was fun and the views were beautiful.

For the first tour that was valley of the moon the guide was excellent, only that since the driver was very crazy to drive and as for the information of where there is waiting for the transfer is ambiguous. For my second tour I find it unnecessary to pick you up at 4:30 in the morning being that the geysers of the tatio do not change much if you arrive a little later (unnecessary to go so early) and even more so that it was with the same driver. For the third tour with them that was lagoon Céjar the guide Joaquín was very superb discomforting on some occasions and again with the same crazy driver to drive. For the fourth tour that was puritama thermals we were kept waiting more than 1 hour for the transfer, not to mention the reason for the delay having to contact some of the three managers of the agency of which they have a lousy organization to deliver information. Finally, the management and organization of this agency is very bad.

Surreal place, it really seems that we are in lunar soil due to the rocky formations and white/silver coloration (due to the presence of salt) throughout the landscape. It is worth noting the conduct of the tour by the guide Juan Fleitas Ortellado, who clearly works with the maximum capricho, explaining historical details, curiosities, local culture, and this in 3 languages (Inglish, Portuguese and Spanish)! It is more than fair to register this compliment to this great professional. I rate as very good/excellent the transport with air conditioning in order (this is very important) and the snack included in the tour. I recommend!

Second time we've been in San Pedro Atacama. We love the care of all Andes Travel staff, especially Maria. Victor and Sebastian.All very kind and dear! Even when there were problems with the suspension of "entry" in the puritama thermas, they helped us very kindly and gave us great suggestions! We feel them "at home"! We leave our eternal gratitude!
