Geniet van een dagtocht naar drie van de meest iconische bestemmingen van Toscane: Montalcino, de thuisbasis van de beroemde Brunello-wijn; Pienza, bekend om zijn Pecorino-kaas; en Montepulciano, bekend om zijn prestigieuze Nobile-wijn. Reis door de Val d'Orcia, die op de UNESCO-lijst staat, aan boord van een premium minibus met airconditioning, een Engels sprekende chauffeur en gratis water. Kleine groepservaring, maximaal 8 deelnemers. Houd er rekening mee dat de lunch van november tot april en in geval van slecht weer binnen plaatsvindt. 08:00 uur: Ontmoet onze Engels sprekende chauffeur en laat de tour beginnen!
09:45 uur: De eerste stop is in een geweldige wijnmakerij in Montalcino... De wijnmakerij is eigendom van een lokale familie en als je met hen praat, heb je niet het gevoel hun werkplek te bezoeken, maar hun huis!... Je zult alles weten over Brunello di Montalcino: de wijngaardtechnieken, het wijnbereidingsproces, de veroudering en natuurlijk hoe je het kunt waarderen door verschillende jaargangen te drinken!
11.30 uur: geniet van een korte stop van 15 minuten om te genieten van het kasteel van Montalcino en het kleine stadscentrum.
12:15 uur: Aangekomen in Pienza, een pauselijk dorp dat beroemd is om zijn Pecorino-kaas, krijgt u de kans om te genieten van een superieure lunch in een voormalig klooster uit de vijftiende eeuw en wat vrije tijd. Een geweldig 3-gangenmenu inclusief wijn en water wordt geserveerd in een kleurrijke tuin met een prachtig uitzicht op de Val d'Orcia! (beschikbaar van april t/m oktober, in de winter wordt de lunch binnen geserveerd) Na de lunch heb je vrije tijd om het mooie stadje Pienza te ontdekken, waar je het historische centrum kunt waarderen, kunt genieten van de uitzichtpunten en de beroemde kaaswinkels kunt bezoeken!
14:45 uur: Hier worden we rondgeleid door een historische kelder genaamd "The underground city" die zich beneden van een plaatselijke wijnwinkel bevindt. Bij de uitgang van de ondergrondse stad wordt u begroet met een proeverij van wijn en andere voedselspecialiteiten. Voordat je vertrekt, zorgen we ervoor dat je genoeg tijd hebt om het centrale plein te bezoeken, gelegen op de top van de stad, vanwaar je de laatste foto's kunt maken!

We had a wonderful experience! Our driver was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. He was training a new driver who was also kind. We were the only two guests on the tour because it’s the slow season, so we were quite lucky! Highly recommend. The food and wine were plentiful and delicious!

This was an amazing tour of some of Tuscany’s country side. Our guide Luca was amazing, he shared a lot of history and fun facts, he walked with us and was our guide in the towns, very attentive and nice. The places we visited were beautiful. The tour guides were very engaging, knowledgeable, and nice. The wine was superb at both places and lunch was fantastic and with a great view. The service we got everywhere was excellent. Highly recommended!

This is a wonderful tour! The underground, secret areas beneath the town were amazing, their wines were ALL delicious, our guide perfection, history fascinating and we loved every bit of it. We bought some of the wonderful vino nobile and chianti riserva!!!

The whole experience was very good, from easy pick-up in city center to amazing wine and food to stunning views. The only thing missing was the stop in the town of Montalcino. This was not explained and disappointing. The wine and food stops are ample time but we did have time to see anything in the town of Monterpulciano other than the underground cellar and Pienza was very fast. Do this tour for the wine, not necessarily the towns. We learned a lot about Tuscan history and very much enjoyed our trip.

Wonderful trip exploring the beautiful Val d’Orcia region. It was a small group of just three people, so felt very personal and relaxed. Our driver Luca was great, providing lots of information about the region and making lots of extra stops for great photo opportunities. The two wineries we visited were superb, with excellent wines. The restaurant had one of the best views I've ever seen. Highly recommended tour!

Wonderful full day experience in Val d’Orcia! The wine tasting with food pairing in Montepulciano is very well done, the lunch in Pienza is delicious and in a beautiful setting, and the winery visit in Montalcino is great!
