Geniet van handige pick-up direct bij de cruisehaven Le Havre en reis door het Normandische platteland in een comfortabele touringcar met airconditioning terwijl uw Gids inzichten deelt over de regio en het beroemde eiland Mont Saint-Michel, een UNESCO-werelderfgoedlocatie. Shuttle van de parkeerplaats naar Mont Saint-Michel
Bij aankomst begint uw avontuur pas echt als u uw eerste glimp van dit adembenemende getijdeneiland opvangt. De Mont Saint-Michel wordt vaak het "Wonder van het Westen" genoemd en rijst dramatisch op uit de omliggende baai, waardoor een scène ontstaat die nergens anders ter wereld te zien is. Begin je ontdekkingstocht met een begeleide wandeltocht door het lager gelegen dorp, onder leiding van je Expert Gids. Wandel langs de geplaveide Grand Rue, bewonder de middeleeuwse wallen en geniet van de schilderachtige uitzichtpunten. Voor dit deel van de tocht hoef je niet te klimmen, waardoor het toegankelijk is voor alle fitnessniveaus.
Na de rondleiding geniet u van vrije tijd om de Mont Saint-Michel in uw eigen tempo te verkennen. Gasten hebben de mogelijkheid om: Bezoek de Abdij : Voor wie de iconische abdij wil verkennen, kan de 350 treden naar de top van de rots beklimmen en dit architectonische meesterwerk bezoeken. De abdij beschikt over gotische kloosters, panoramische uitzichten op de wadden en ingewikkelde details die het verhaal van zijn spirituele en historische betekenis vertellen. Houd er rekening mee dat het toegangsticket voor de abdij (€16) niet bij de tourprijs is inbegrepen en ter plaatse kan worden gekocht. Ontspan in de Lower Village : voor degenen die liever een meer ontspannen ervaring, verken de charmante winkels, fotografeer de prachtige architectuur, of dineren in een lokaal restaurant met authentieke Franse gerechten. Geniet van de regionale specialiteiten van Normandië, waaronder hartige pannenkoeken, verse zeevruchten en boterachtige gebakjes. Op het aangewezen tijdstip hergroepeert u zich met uw Gids en keert u terug naar de shuttlestop voor de transfer van 15 - 20 minuten terug naar de parkeerplaats.
Na een onvergetelijk bezoek aan Mont Saint-Michel stapt u weer in uw comfortabele bus voor de terugreis naar Le Havre. Uw Gids staat klaar om eventuele laatste vragen te beantwoorden of meer te delen over de regio Normandië. De terugrit omvat een korte ruststop om uw comfort te garanderen. Zorg dat u ruim voor vertrek van uw schip in de cruisehaven van Le Havre bent, zodat u voldoende tijd heeft om aan boord te gaan en te ontspannen.

Wonderful day trip! Maja was a fantastic guide (funny, clear, and informative) and Ramdan was an excellent driver (very fashionable and kind!) - we had a great experience. Rest stops in both directions were big and clean with plentiful options for snack buying. The provided lunch was yummy - we even saved our leftovers for breakfast the next day to extend the bliss. Maja helpfully walked us to the exact spot to buy tickets to the abbey so we didn't get lost, and it was well worth the admission fee and time (about 75 min)! Once we were done with the abbey, we explored the little town for a bit - don't miss Saint-Pierre Parish Church on the Main Street with a statue of Joan of Arc out front - gorgeous inside! We bought some quick souvenirs and crepes on Main Street and hiked back to the parking lot (took us about 45 min to walk) but the views of Mont St Michel from a distance were pretty, and we got our steps in before we rested on the long bus ride home. Back with plenty of time to spare for our cruise departure. Thanks to Maja and Ramdan for an excellent adventure!
It was an experience that I’m glad I did. However it was extremely busy with the most narrow street that I have ever been on. Also the famous omelette starting at 50 euros, unbelievable. Glad I experienced it but won’t be going back

Unfortunately, we don't have any control over the prices charged by the local restaurants and shops within Mont Saint-Michel. Everything was very clear and easy from the booking on the web page to the tour itself. On the previous day got a text confirming my bus number for the tour. On the pier, the Vexperio people were already guiding us to the meeting point. We were received by Maja and the driver, who were very friendly and accommodating during the tour. Even though the ride from Havre to Mont St Michel took a few hours, the brief stop, the explanations of the places we were passing by, made the time pass very fast. When arriving on Mont St Michel, the instructions of how to get from there, the meeting point on our return were clear, We were given a lunch consisting of a delicious sandwich made with local ingredients, chips, water and dessert. The time we had to spend on site was of three hours, enough to walk around the very busy streets. Maybe not enough if you want to go to the abbey. The way back to the port los went smoothly, having another stop to stretch out legs. We were on time back on the ship. I would definitely recommend Vexperio as a tour agency, and Maja as a guide. She has all the information, and a very friendly personality.

This tour was incredible! Maja was an excellent guide who took great care of us on the trip from Le Havre to Mont Saint Michel. As for the site itself: wow. It was like if a fairytale mixed an MC Escher drawing came to life. I truly recommend it!

Maja was our guide and she was truly fantastic. She shared lots of interesting info already on the way, and once we got to Mont Saint Michel she showed us the cutest little shops and where to eat. I got a bit lost in the narrow streets but thanks to Maja everything felt easy and relaxed. We got back to the ship on time. Highly reccomend!
