Beschrijving
Reis comfortabel in je coach rond de basis van Uluru met je chauffeursgids die details zal geven over de ongelooflijke geschiedenis ervan. Je zult gefascineerd zijn door de Aboriginalverhalen die vele duizenden jaren teruggaan. Leer de betekenis van oude rotskunst van de Aboriginals, over de flora en fauna van het gebied en de cultuur van de traditionele eigenaren, de Anangu. Je dag wordt afgesloten met een spectaculaire zonsondergang bij Uluru. OPTIONEEL BBQ-DINER De barbecueplaats ligt in het Uluru National Park, te midden van rode zandduinen en woestijneiken, wat een rustige woestijnomgeving biedt. U zult genieten van een verscheidenheid aan Australisch vlees en salades, vergezeld van wijn, bier of sinaasappelsap (menu's kunnen veranderen). Na het diner wordt er thee, koffie en een dessert geserveerd. Je gids zal een rondleiding door de nachtelijke hemel maken, waarbij hij enkele van de zichtbare sterrenbeelden beschrijft en aanwijst met behulp van een grootlichtschijnwerper (als het weer het toelaat).

Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre
Bezoek het cultureel centrum Uluru-Kata Tjuta - verken de Tjukurpa-tunnel en lees over de geschiedenis, en de flora en fauna van het park
Kuniya Walk
Volg je chauffeursgids voor een korte wandeling naar het Mutitjulu Waterhole aan de voet van Uluru. Bekijk oude rotsschilderingen en hoor verhalen over het traditionele Anangu-leven. Leer het Tjukurpa (scheppings) verhaal van Kuniya en Liru.
Later kunt u naar het uitzichtsgebied op de Uluru-zonsondergang reizen en ontspannen met mousserende wijn als de zon ondergaat aan de westelijke horizon en de avondhemel de ontelbare kleurtinten naar voren brengt waar Uluru beroemd om is. Keer terug naar het resort na zonsondergang of voeg ons bekroonde barbecuediner toe om deze hoogtepuntavond te completeren (zie optionele details).

Great tour
Uluru is so special. Very knowledgeable guide. Delicious BBQ unfortunately not under the stars as it was a cloudy night, but otherwise all good!

Uluru at sunset and under the stars -10/10!
This tour is a great mix of visiting the cultural center, seeing Uluru as you drive around it in a comfortable coach, with a short walk to the waterhole along with some stories about the area and the history of Uluru, followed by a drive to watch as the sunset across the rock while you enjoy canapés and wine/softdrinks. Truly magical. But they saved the best for last and that was the beautiful bbq dinner under the stars close to Uluru where we engaged in conversations with people from all over the world and were treated to a delicious meal and plenty of wine. They ended the evening with star gazing which was simply unbelievable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone that wants a more relaxed (not real physical) experience here at Uluru. Amazing overall experience and very well run.

Save your money, don’t book
Waste of time. Guide talked way too much while saying nothing. Couldn’t answer any questions. Took 10 minutes to tell 2 sentence stories. Not at all worth paying this exorbitant price; just book the hop on/hop off bus and DIY.

That all your expectations will be exceeded. The dinner choices were great and the staff was very attentive. The sky was so amazing! And if course Uluru itself was majestic.

It was amazing. The cultural centre tells an amazing story, the trip around the rock and the stories that go with that, and the dinner were all incredible. Please try the Kangaroo if you haven’t already!!

Uluru sacred sites and BBQ 08/03/26
A wonderful afternoon and evening from start to finish. Very well organised, excellent guides (Kevin and Hayley) who both gave very good commentary and information. The walks at the base of Uluru were a great experience. The sunset was fabulous with very generous tasty nibbles and a glass of fizz. We then thoroughly enjoyed the optional, fine-dining, truly delicious BBQ and wine under the stars, followed by a fascinating astronomy talk from Neil. Don't miss it!
