Rachel's Knoll totdat we stapten op wat misschien wel de mooiste plek was die we in Sedona zagen. In de jaren zeventig was Rachel Patty Lunt op zoek naar grond in Sedona. Terwijl ze naar de gebieden keek die ze kon kopen, kwam ze naar deze plek. Er wordt gezegd dat toen Rachel op de heuvel stapte, ze de energieën door haar lichaam voelde gaan. Het was gewoon zo mooi. Dus werd ze toegewijd om deze plek open te houden voor mensen die in Sedona wonen en deze bezoeken. Wanneer mensen over Sedona praten, noemen ze vaak het spirituele aspect ervan, de draaikolk. Van Sedona wordt gezegd dat het verschillende energiecentra heeft die vortexen worden genoemd. Er wordt gedacht dat je positieve energie kunt krijgen van de vortex-sites en je kunt het in je lichaam voelen.

Our tour guide was John, and he was great. Long time resident that knew a lot about the area and the sites. Some of the sites were closed off because of a wildfire in the area, but John made sure we got to do and see other things. Had a great time and family loved it.
