Overall, a good experience. They were very thorough even before the tours. Wanting to clarify things like car seats for the kids, special needs, and itinerary preferences. We were not very sure at first, but by the end we realized it was worth every cent. The skip‑the‑line access alone saved us hours. Guide Miriam was engaging and gracious, full of stories that made the art and architecture resonate. Truly a day well spent.
What stood out most was the balance: enough walking to stretch our legs and enough driving to rest. Our guide Miriam was both funny and deeply informed. Prado museum highlights followed by the opulent Royal Palace, and occasional stops for photos in Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol added variety. Driver Jorge kept things punctual and smooth.
This private tour felt tailored to our pace and interests. Guide Miriam took note of our preferences and shaped the itinerary accordingly , you get random plazas, local legends, and insider history along the way. The driver was courteous, and the comfortable vehicle made midday breaks nice. The whole day felt like a curated city portrait.
The Prado visit felt like a masterclass. Our guide Elena focused our attention on key works and explained their political and artistic context in a way that deepened our understanding. Then, the Royal Palace felt majestic with behind‑the‑scenes stories. Our driver gave us time and space between stops. Every detail was considered.
