Een van de oudste clubs in Mumbai, Royal Mumbai Yacht Club, werd gebouwd door John Adams en Charles Stevens en ligt daarom behoorlijk tussen Charles en Adams Street.
Eerder het Mendham's Point-kerkhof en ook de Alfred Sailors-club - Het hoofdkwartier heeft een handig handwerk van John Lockwood Kipling
De overheid leidt hedendaagse kunstgalerie in Mumbai
Prince of Wales Museum is het stadsmuseum en werd in 1995 gedoopt als Chatrapti Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangralay. Het diende als een ziekenhuis voor de gewonde soldaten in de Eerste Wereldoorlog
Dit is het kunstgebied van Mumbai. Hier, temidden van verhalen over Sassoon en de Joodse geschiedenis, zult u verhalen horen over het Watson Hotel - het eerste ijzeren gebouw in de stad waar Mark Twain woonde.
Het hoge hof van Bombay werd gebouwd in de vorm van een Duits kasteel. Het was in deze rechtbank dat het jurysysteem werd afgeschaft

Tour met ons op de lokale kruidenmarkt en je kunt niet alleen de kruiden kopen, maar ze ook droog geroosterd en gemalen in de masala-mix van je keuze laten maken voor je eigen ogen.
Een alternatief voor de vrijwilligersactiviteit is de verbazingwekkende en soms gekke maar volledig onmisbare ervaring van het reizen in de Mumbai Local! Je leert ook over de verbluffende architectuur van Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus van waaruit de eerste trein in India vertrok.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
1) De chauffeur is 5 minuten voor aanvang van de tour in het hotel. 2) Starttijd van de tour voor hotels in Noord-Mumbai varieert. 3) Als u op het schip verblijft bij de Mumbai International Cruise Terminal en u wilt worden opgehaald van buiten het schip, dan zijn er extra kosten van Rs 1000/- per persoon. Dit bedrag dient contant te worden betaald aan de gids of de chauffeur bij aanvang van de tour.

We had an unforgettable full day trip in Mumbai through our guides Nishtha. The day was perfectly organized and very varied. The city tour was extremely informative and interesting. Another highlight was the rousing Bollywood dance performance, which introduced us to the culture and joie de vivre of India in an impressive way. The shared lunch was also very well chosen and completed the day perfectly. We were also particularly fascinated by the visit to the spice market, where we got an insight into spice production. However, the price of 115€ was also not exactly insignificant. Our guides Nishtha spoke excellent German and led with a lot of knowledge, commitment and charm through the day. Her explanations were lively and always exciting. You could tell that she does her job with great passion. We can fully recommend this tour and especially the guides Nishtha. Thank you for this wonderful day!

Mitali took my family group on a wonderful ‘5 senses’ tour of Mumbai. Batul is an excellent tour guide. We enjoyed the “Five Senses” one-day tour enormously. As well as a whistle-stop history of Mumbai, we loved the Bollywood dancing class and an excellent taste of Indian treats.

An interesting way of viewing key elements of this part of the city. We thoroughly enjoyed each step of the journey, though the train ride was probably the least part of the whole. Be prepared for some fun, made better if you are up for participating and getting stuck in. I cannot recommend Nishtha enough. Great knowledge, enthusiasm, humour and energy. Get har to lead the tour if you can. We had a private tour for just the two of us and it was a blast. Drink a lot of water and take a hat. Soak up the city.
