Reisroute
Begin uw reis met hotel pick-ups (alleen locaties selecteren) voordat u naar Te Toka o Apihai Te Kawau gaat, het oprichtingsmonument van Auckland aan de waterkant.
Reis langs de schilderachtige Tamaki Drive naar dit historische en visueel opvallende park op de klif ter ere van een van de meest gerespecteerde leiders van Nieuw-Zeeland.
Vaar langs de waterkant langs deze iconische lokale strandwijk, met inzichten in de geschiedenis en het vulkanische landschap van het gebied.
Stop om te genieten van een prachtig uitzicht op de Golf van Hauraki en Rangitoto Island, de jongste en grootste van de 48 vulkanische kegels van Auckland.
Verken het oudste park van de stad en bekijk het Auckland War Memorial Museum, tropische tuinen en rustige vijvers. Onderweg door het charmante Parnell.
Rijd door Newmarket en ga naar het hoogste natuurlijke punt van Auckland. Maak een korte wandeling naar de top voor een spectaculair uitzicht en een kijkje in het hart van deze slapende vulkaan.
Maak het stadsgedeelte compleet door door Karangahape Road en Queen Street te reizen en onder de Sky Tower te eindigen.
Steek de Harbour Bridge over en ga westwaarts het platteland in. Kom naar Brouwerij Hallertau voor een heerlijke lunch van een vast menu, met de mogelijkheid om lokale ambachtelijke bieren te proeven (op eigen kosten).
Bezoek de wilde westkust van Auckland en wandel langs het dramatische zwarte zandstrand. Kom meer te weten over de geologie, wilde dieren en rauwe natuurlijke schoonheid van de regio.
Maak een korte wandeling over het klifpad voor uitzicht op de kust en een kans om de grootste jan-van-gentkolonie op het vasteland van het Noordereiland te zien (het broedseizoen varieert).
We steken de haven weer over en gaan naar de charmante kustwijk Devonport. Hier maken we een schilderachtige rit naar de top van North Head, een historische vulkanische kegel met een prachtig uitzicht op de Golf van Hauraki en de skyline van de stad. Leer over de fascinerende militaire tunnels en kustverdedigingsgeschiedenis terwijl je dit unieke uitkijkpunt verkent.
Na een geweldige middag aan de westkust en North Shore van Auckland te hebben verkend, is het tijd om terug te keren naar de stad. U kunt ervoor kiezen om de schilderachtige veerboot terug te nemen over de haven van Devonport naar de stad, of genieten van een volledig begeleide rit met drop-offs op centrale locaties en hotels.

Als uw locatie er niet bij staat, kies dan uw dichtstbijzijnde beschikbare optie en ontmoet ons daar. *Pick-ups kunnen beginnen tot 20 minuten voor de tour vertrektijd, afhankelijk van de locatie. Om een vlotte start te garanderen, gelieve buiten 5 minuten voor uw specifieke ophaaltijd klaar te staan en te wachten. *Pick-up locaties zijn zorgvuldig gepland voor elke tour en kan variëren per dag. Als uw ophaallocatie verandert, verzoeken wij u dit vooraf aan ons door te geven. *Onze gidsen maken meerdere stops en kunnen binnen een tijdsbestek van 10 minuten aankomen. We kunnen niet wachten op late gasten.

My tour guide is Simon. He is nice, patient and polite. He knows English is not my first language. But he will try his best to use easier English to lets us understand the story behind. That’s an enjoyable and comfortable tour.
I got an e mail that they may have to cancel this tour and it was very unsure if they would do it right up until the day before. That was stressful but I am glad that it was able to proceed because it was so fun! Got to see so many things and great photo opportunities. A wonderful lunch! Matt was our guide and he was so great to help us see things and answer questions.

The best tour to cover the best Auckland has to offer, it’ll be a long day with a lot of driving but you will not be disappointed by the story telling and views along the way to make the experience worth it
This was a great trip. I highly recommend the full day experience if going to be in Auckland for only a short time as gives a picture of Auckland and it's surroundings. For some travelers, it might even help to decide more in depth adventures to take. This was my second trip with Simon in a week. He is absolutely great!!!! He provided great commentary on the things visited, made certain all in group were engaged. In our group, we decided what places to go/see based on options he noted. Oh yes, although I don't drink coffee, those who do enjoyed the place he selected.

I loved all the stops. NZ is amazing. The stops were good but I felt the guide rushed us a bit. Felt she had New Years plans and wanted done early. Kept asking us if we wanted to take the ferry home we had to pay far, rather then the hotel drop off, and it was a rainy day so would have got wet on ferry. But other than that was an amazing day and excursion. Loved all the sites, tour, and people. Guide as well got a little political. I love a good historical story but not so much political.
We had an incredible experience with Pearl. Even though we were part of a group tour, she made the entire trip feel like a private, VIP experience. From start to finish, Pearl was attentive and flexible, constantly checking in to see what we were interested in rather than just sticking to a rigid script. She even went above and beyond the scheduled time to ensure we didn't miss a thing. My tour with Matt on 11/19/2025 was great. He was fun, and as a long time resident of the area, very knowledgable. The morning was very personalized, since it was just me. However, when more folks joined in, he helped us all feel comfortable together.
