Superb experience with Madu who does not follow the other jeeps. We saw about twenty elephants, some crocodiles, a mongoose, some buffalo, and some birds. Perfect!

It was a wonderful experience. Beautiful area, and our guide had a keen eye for spotting the animals. Definitely worth it.
We had an amazing experience with Namal Priyankara. He knew where to be and waited long enough so we could take pictures. He had a book about birds to explain which birds we saw and to get to know more about them. We also saw lots of elephants.
We went on safari with guide Hemal. A very good guide, friendly and he knows a lot. We had a great time!
uresh was a great guide, telling us details about the life of the animals, showing us exactly where we could see certain birds and getting us as close (but still safe!) to the elephants as possible. Service was great, we got picked up at the hotel and when it started raining we could close the sides of the jeep but still see things. Overall awesome experience!

Hemal from Niluka Safaris is a very good driver. He has great knowledge about the park and the animals and spots many animals we wouldn't even see in the first place. We've throughly enjoyed doing the safari with him and would highly recommend him if you want to visit the beautiful Udawalawe National Park.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely wonderful day. The guided tour through the eco garden was authentic, inspiring and very informative. We experienced genuine Sri Lankan hospitality and learned so much about local plants, spices and traditional life. It was a truly enriching experience. The afternoon safari was equally outstanding. Our guide and driver were incredibly attentive throughout the tour. Whenever I wanted to stop to take photographs, they immediately slowed down or stopped and patiently waited. They also made sure we didn’t miss anything, pointing out special birds, crocodiles and many other animals that we might otherwise have overlooked. Their knowledge, enthusiasm and kindness made the safari a very special experience. Thank you for an unforgettable day full of amazing wildlife, beautiful nature and lasting memories. We highly recommend both experiences to anyone visiting Sri Lanka.
