Begin in Bakio bij het Txakoli Museum om meer te weten te komen over de geschiedenis, het Atlantische klimaat en de wijnbouwtechnieken. Bezoek een txakolindegi (wijnhuis) om de wijnbouw aan de kust te zien, oogsten, persen, gisten en rijpen die txakoli zijn citrusachtige zuurgraad en zoutrand geven. Geniet van een begeleide proeverij met een Cantabrisch voorgerecht, leer de hoge schenktraditie, serveertips en waarom txakoli perfect past bij vis en zeevruchten. Wonderful day exploring this small winery region. The museum was a treat with nicely done videos and exhibits.
Great trip, very informative however it said it included a snack- which it didn’t
It was an excellent experience in spite of the very cold and rainy weather. I would highly recommend especially if you are into wines and would like to see the country side. Our tour guide Asier and guide in the museum Mira were very attentive, informative and helpful. We visited a very nice winery and loved Txakoli wine. Overall it was a great tour!

My partner and I recently went on a Txakoli wine tour from Bilbao, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. If you love wine, beautiful scenery, and learning about local culture, this tour is a must-do! The wine tastings were generous and diverse, showcasing the range of flavors and styles within the Txakoli category. We especially enjoyed the young, fresh Txakoli, which was perfect for a warm summer day. The accompanying snacks were delicious and highlighted the region's culinary traditions.

Our tour guide Jose was absolutely brilliant. Such a personal and engaging tour from start to finish. His love for describing the region and it’s surroundings was matched by the passion of the storytelling and craft on show at the museum and vineyard we were fortunate to visit.
