Twilight Wildlife-boottocht met kleine groepen in La Fortuna

The guides were excellent. We were traveling with a 2.5 year old and they were very good with him and helped us throughout the trip. Our guide even took us on a small side quest!

Our guide May was the best. He was calm, knowledgable, and kind. He was able to spot a lot of animals like iguanas, a crocodile, birds, monkeys, and more! It was a relaxing ride very worth the price. The snack at the end was very delicious.

This tour was very relaxing and a nice way to explore Costa Rica's nature. Our guide was nice and informative. Everything was done on time such as picking up, tour time, and drop off. We had a good time and memorable one for booking this tour to see Costa Rica's nature in a different way than hiking.

Really fun and knowledgeable trip! Our guide was fantastic and taught us so much. Well worth it to see Costa Rica from the water, great for all ages.

A mixed tour - we were able to see many animals including howler monkeys, a crocodile and various birds. Given 3/5 rather than 5/5 as for the price of the tour simple things could be improved on - it would have been useful to have the option of borrowing or even renting binoculars - we had our own but others in the boat did not and were struggling sometimes due to this, other tours we’ve been on have offered this and this has been helpful. It would also be helpful to have had someone paddling the boat and then an extra staff member spotting the wildlife - our guide was excellent and definitely trying his hardest, but as he was having to do both roles he was sometimes missing animals which we then only saw if a customer in the boat spotted them. Again on other tours we have done in the past there has been 2 members of staff to allow this differentiation in roles which has been helpful. It was a good tour, but sadly not 5/5 when the price is taken into consideration.

We absolutely loved this twilight wildlife boat tour. Even though it had been pouring rain beforehand, the weather turned out perfect and made the entire experience feel peaceful, soothing, and incredibly relaxing. The wildlife sightings were amazing — we saw howler monkeys, a tayra, iguanas, and even a snakebird. The guides made us feel very safe throughout the tour, and the atmosphere on the water at twilight was unforgettable. One thing to note: if you have significant back or lower extremity issues, this tour may be uncomfortable since you are seated in a raft for about 1.5 hours. For us, though, it was the perfect mix of adventure, fun, and nature. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a unique and tranquil wildlife experience.

The boat ride on the river was magical, so peaceful and calm. Our guide was very knowledgeable and helped us spotting several birds including an ara macaw, an owl, and bats, plus some basiliscs, an iguana, and howler monkeys. The "snack" afterwards was delicious as well and quite generous, plátano maduro con natilla and 2 homemade cakes with cas or tamarind juice. Definitely recommended.

This was the perfect thing to do on arrival day after driving from San Jose. Relaxing but fun- saw so many monkeys and other wildlife, flora and fauna. Bella (Stephen’s nickname) was an amazing guide. This tour company is great and I love that they just do small groups and offer such great service. They’ll pick you up anywhere in La Fortuna even if the booking site says your motel isn’t on the pick-up list. Highly recommend.

We had an awesome time on the Twilight Safari! Our guide was Bryan and Wow did we hit the guide jackpot! Bryan was so much fun, full of interesting knowledge and local information that he happily shared from the moment we were picked up on time at Tabacon Hot Springs. This Twilight Safari was absolutely one of my Favorite excursions and this is my 3rd trip to Costa Rica! Just a quick ride from La Fortuna, this Safari showed us Sloths, Howler Monkeys, Bats, lots of variety of birds, Capuchin Monkeys, Toucans, Lizards and more while floating down a beautiful fresh water river. Such a relaxing Safari while your guide navigates you to the takeout where a table filled with fresh fruit is waiting for you. I will do this this Safari again and request Bryan, that os Bryan with a "Y" Dont miss this one!

We really enjoyed our Twilight safari float! Our guide was Kay and he was very kind and knowledgeable. They picked us up from our hotel and drove us to the river. We saw a sloth, many monkeys including a loud monkey fight at night, toucans, parrots, crocodile, bats, otter, caiman, and many other birds. At the end we enjoyed some delicious authentic Costa Rican snacks - fried plantains with cheese, banana bread, yucca bread, and sour guava juice. We highly recommend this tour, it’s one of a kind!
