Tijdens deze tour ervaar je de grootsheid van de Maya beschaving terwijl je op de belangrijkste archeologische sites in El Salvador, San Andres en Tazumal bent. Tegelijkertijd heb je een verbinding met de natuur die in Cerro Verde National Park komt. Op zaterdag en zondag hebben we de mogelijkheid om het UNESCO werelderfgoed Joya de Ceren te bezoeken, kwon als het Pompeii van Amerika.

Als u Cerro Verde National Park bezoekt, maken we een wandeling van ongeveer 45 minuten, waar we zullen genieten van een aangenaam weer, frisse lucht en een prachtig uitzicht op f Santa Ana, Izalco-vulkanen en het Coatepeque-meer
Tazumal, een van de belangrijkste archeologische vindplaatsen in het land, bestaande uit 13 bouwwerken, waarvan een bouwwerk een 24 meter hoge piramide is
Het archeologische park San Andrés is een van de grootste pre-Spaanse centra in El Salvador en zou in de late klassieke periode, periode van hoogtepunt van de Maya-beschaving, een regionale hoofdstad hebben gevormd tussen 600 en 900 na Christus.

This tour was a wonderful experience. My guide Gerson was absolutely amazing. He is so knowledgeable and shared the history and culture in an engaging way. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in history or archaeology.
We did two different tours with this tour company. One was a city tour and Boqueron plus the Mayan sites. These were basically private tours and our guide Gerson was very knowledgeable, accommodating and organized. These would have been much harder to do alone and we would have missed so much information. The day was well planned, moved at a good pace and time to stop and recharge for food. They picked us up directly at our hotel and followed the itinerary. Would strongly recommend and shout out to Gerson for a great time!

Alfredo Diaz left a lasting impression on the fantastic culture of El Salvador, as well as giving us an appreciation for the history of the country and the legacy left behind by the Mayan culture. This trip truly shows you the beauty of the area with scenic routes, picturesque walks, and there is plenty of time to rest and souvenir shop. The food was amazing, the engagement during the tour was fantastic, and if you only spend one day in San Salvador, you should do this tour.
We booked an airport pick-up with this company, and it exceeded our expectations. The minibus was clean, comfortable, and very cozy, and the driver was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our tour guide, Windy, was absolutely amazing—full of energy, warm, and truly passionate about her culture. Her enthusiasm made the experience so much more enjoyable, and you could really feel how much she loves sharing her heritage with others. During the tour, we visited Cerro Verde National Park, Tazumal, and San Andrés Archaeological Park. The views were absolutely stunning—seeing a volcano up close for the first time was an unforgettable experience. I also want to highlight how friendly and welcoming the local people are. We felt completely comfortable throughout the trip, and there was none of the tourist pressure or scams you might encounter elsewhere. Highly recommended!
This trip was absolutely epic and easily one of the highlights of our time in El Salvador. There were four of us (work colleagues) on the tour, and from start to finish everything was smooth, fun, and incredibly well organized. Steffany set the bar SUPER high — she was friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible. She even accommodated an extra stop for us and made sure we never felt rushed. And Sandra (our driver) was hands-down one of the best drivers we’ve ever had anywhere. She made the entire day feel safe and comfortable, even with the longer drives. We visited three different sites and then made our way to the volcano, which was live — such an unforgettable experience. They also made an extra stop so we could take photos and even helped us translate with locals, which was hugely appreciated and made everything feel more authentic and easy. The views of the lake were incredible, and honestly everything about the day was fantastic. If you’re considering this tour — book it. Steffany and Sandra made it truly special and we would 100% recommend!
